Based on a Butterkäse cheese: Rich butter, hay and sweet almond flavors underscored by a bright lemony flavor. Snowfields is made using Autumn and Winter milk from pasture grazed cows. Butterkäse traditionally comes from Germany, and the name translates to “butter cheese.” Most Americans pronounce it “butter case,” but it’s actually pronounced more like “booter-keh-zuh”.

Bold hazelnut flavors followed with a sharp acidity and a lingering finish of browned butter are packed into the smooth and creamy body of this universally loved cheese. With a creamy, smooth texture, its a perfect melting cheese.

An American take on a traditional alpine style cheese, the dense nutty paste has a bright and sweet finish with just a hint of hazelnut and butterscotch on the finish. Saxony is made using summer milk from pasture grazed cows.
