Mosselman Shea Butter Refined (91080-23-8) is the fat obtained from the kernels of the African plant “Butyrospermum parki” and is much more unsaturated than cocoa butter and is correspondingly softer and less brittle. Shea butter has a characteristically high content of unsaponifiables and the iodine and saponification number depend on the amount of unsaponifiable matter present. Sheabutter is mainly used in cosmetics. It is an excellent emollient both for skin and hair.

Mosselman Sorbitol 70% C (50-70-4) is a hexahydric alcohol which is present in small amounts in fruit. The commercial product is obtained by hydrogenation of dextrose. Sorbitol is used in cosmetics, toothpaste, tobacco, pharmaceuticals etc. Sorbitol 70% Type C is a crystallizable aqueous solution.

Mosselman Perhydrosqualene (111-01-3) also known as squalane is a unique hydrocarbon. The commercially available product is a colorless, tasteless and inert oily liquid. Squalane is a natural emollient which imparts to the skin a suppleness without an unpleasant greasy feel. It is mostly used in pharmaceuticals and cosmetic preparations.

Mosselman Argan Oil Deodorized (223747-87-3) is produced from the seeds of the argan-, ardjan- or iron tree. The argan tree is indigenous exclusively to Morocco. Traditionally argan oil is produced manually and has an intensive taste and odor. Mosselman Jojoba Oil Golden (90045-98-0) is a cold pressed oil derived from the desert shrub “Simmondsia chinensis” or “Desert Gold”. Unlike other vegetable oils, jojoba oil is not a triglyceride but a liquid wax composed of unsaturated fatty acids and unsaturated fatty alcohols.
