About Us

"Created in 2014 by Jaques PELLETER, NANOVIA sees its first 3D printing filaments leaving its production line in Louargat, in the Côtes d'Armor with the launch of the FIL3DPRO project. In 2015 NANOVIA unveils the ISTROFLEX. A flexible, biobased and biodegradable 3D filament, made from oyster shells, which will win the innovation trophy of the Morbihan CCI.With the culmination of the FIL3DPRO project in 2017, NANOVIA has been able to develop new aramid and carbon fiber composites, based on ABS and PETg. For 4 years NANOVIA has seen its production triple, as well as its number of employees. In 2018 NANOVIA released its range of technical filaments including PEKK and PEI in order to meet the needs of its industrial customers.With the construction of its new offices and the expansion of its production area in 2020, NANOVIA is doubling its surface area. Since its creation NANOVIA has become a benchmark in the aeronautics, naval, automotive, paramedical, and even defense sectors."

PC CF carbon fiber reduces the polycarbonate’s tendency to warp during printing, whilst increasing its mechanical properties. These added fibers also increase the material’s UV resistance, native polycarbonate being sensible to it.

Nanovia HIPS is characterized by its thermal and mechanical, thermal, and shock resistant properties. Its viscosity allows for smooth and precise 3D prints. Nanovia HIPS allows for shock resistant print, but also often used as a support material, being dissolvable in Limonene. Nanovia HIPS can also be used as both a support, and raft material. Its Compatible with most materials, it allows for the easy removal from the 3D printer bed and is soluble in limonene, an extract of essential citrus oils.

Nanovia PC V0 allows for prints with excellent mechanical and thermic properties. It is ideal for the creation of molds for composite infusion, pre impregnated or even AFP draping. Its widely used for industrial and electronic application thanks to its mechanical properties.

NANOVIA PA-6 CF Carbon fiber reinforced

Nanovia PA-6 CFcarbon fibers reducing shrinkage (warping), makes it possible to print polyamide (nylon) more simply and quickly. This FDM filament is perfectly suited to printing mechanical parts with a shock absorption capacity and good heat resistance up to 100°C. Nanovia PA-6 CF is widely used in industry, especially automotive. It is thus used to produce functional prototypes, mechanical parts or even hinges or cogs.

Nanovia PA-6 blends mechanical, heat, and chemical resistance. It is widely used for industrial application, this filament with not snap and tear apart progressively.

NANOVIA PEI High thermal resistance

The Nanovia PEI filament, based on Ultem 1010 plastics, allows for high heat resistance and thermal stability. Nanovia PEI is resistant to autoclave operation, sterilization cycles, and adapted for tooling able to resist high temperatures. It is perfectly suited for industrial applications in high temperature environments and composite tooling.

PVDF Chemical resistance semi-crystalline polymer allows for the creation of networks able to transport solvents, hydrocarbons, acids, and bases. It is able to polarize under constraint, PVDF is also commonly used in electric applications such as batteries.
