- With its fresh energizing aroma, Eucalyptus Blue Mallee is a standout amongst the eucalypt family, with a consistently high Cineole content and for its antiseptic and antibacterial qualities. Native to Australia, Eucalyptus Blue Mallee is found in south west New South Wales and upper western Victoria, where it thrives in semi-arid conditions. It flowers usually in March to June. Eucalyptus Blue Mallee is one of the major species used for Eucalyptus Oil production. Eucalyptus Blue Mallee has been used by Indigenous Australians for thousands of years to assist wound healing and to help treat respiratory issues. Eucalyptus Blue Mallee oil is steam distilled from the leaves and small branches.
