Its excellent abrasion resistance and heat stability provide an exceptionally durable protective jacket for many types of wire products, and its processing characteristics permit trouble free operation at high wire coating line speeds.

    • NYCO6 870 has been listed by Underwriters Laboratories for jacketing types THHN and THWN thermoplastic-insulated building wires and gasoline resistant types THWN and TW. Approval for jacketing appliance and wiring material for 75C oil resistant uses has also been obtained.
    • NYCO6 870 can be certified to MIL-M-20693A, Types IV and IVA nylon.
