PAR Group PET Sheet (polyethylene terephthalate) is a common thermoplastic that provides high dimensional stability, excellent mechanical strength and good resistance to creep. It offers resistance to chemicals, provides very low moisture absorption and is a good electrical insulator. PET sheet also performs well in wear applications and has a tough, hard surface that can be easily machined and polished. At PAR Group, we have the capability to machine polyethylene terephthalate utilizing our in-house 5 axis CNC technology. We commonly manufacture PET into a range of components such as bearings, gear wheels, control disks and insulators for electrical engineering applications. It can also be converted into tank lids, pump parts and friction strips, or be used as a gas barrier. PAR Group Peek Metal Detectable Sheet is an ideal solution for machined components which are subject to multiple sterilizations, such as CIP (cleaning in place) and SIP (sterilization in place) applications. It is suitable for food approved components which require increased stiffness without the need for reinforcement. It contains very fine material additives making it detectable to most metal detector scanning equipment. Our blue metal detectable PEEK also contains a solid lubricant which provides better sliding properties over standard PEEK products.

PAR Group Nylon 6 Metal Detectable Sheet is a popular engineering plastic due to its ease of machinability. It combines high strength, stiffness and hardness properties with good creep and wear resistance. Our highly visible blue metal detectable Nylon 6 contains very fine material additives making it detectable to most metal detector equipment. It also has lower moisture absorption than standard nylon 6.

PAR Group Acetal Sheet - Metal & X-Ray Detectable has good impact resistance and provides good dimensional strength. It combines good stiffness, dimensional stability and impact strength while remaining easy to machine. It contains very fine material additives making it detectable to most metal detector equipment.
