PWL 9702A is the only cable lubricant that conforms to British Telecom specification MAT 138A. To date no other cable lubricant on the market has met this demanding specification. PWL 9702A is non-toxic, non-flammable and has no physical or chemical effects on cable sheath or sub-duct.

PWL 9702A is formulated to reduce friction during installation of telecommunication and fiber-optic cable in underground subduct. PWL 9702A is suitable for both pulling and blowing cable installation methods.
- Method of Use
For both pulling and blowing installation PWL 9702A should be poured directly onto the cable continuously during installation. If required the sub-duct maybe pre-charged using a lubricator pump. Dosage will depend on the internal diameter (ID) of the sub-duct and the length of the cable run. Typical dosages per 250m of cable run are: 19mm ID sub-duct – 2 liters; 52mm ID subduct - 5 liters; 127mm ID sub-duct – 12 liters.
