Application

This product can be applied by aerosol can.

  1. Shake the aerosol can, right side up, for a minimum of 60 seconds.
  2. Turn the can upside down and shake.
  3. After the product in shaken thoroughly you may apply by pressing on the spray nozzle.
  4. Repeat shaking after every minute of spraying
  5. After every use, turn the can upside down and press the nozzle down until the spray coming out is clear. This means that the nozzle is clear and has a lesser chance of clogging between uses.

NOTE: Application of PTI products requires the use of all OSHA approved safety equipment, including proper ventilation. Additionally, PTI products require the recommended temperature/humidity conditions and film thickness ranges for optimal performance. The material, hangar, and aircraft skin temperatures should be no lower than 75° F / 25° C before, during and after application.

Drying and Curing Schedule

 Dry times are based on the dry film thickness between 1-2 mils (25-50 microns).

Air Dry Times (75⁰F / 25⁰C and 50% Relative Humidity)

  • Set to touch 15 mintues
  • Dry through 2 hours
Equipment Cleaning

Use clean PT-1022X66, Acetone or IPA. Do not allow material to dry or cure inside any equipment.
