Robertet Lavandin Grosso France EO

Lavandin Grosso France EO is an essential oil obtained by steam distillation or hydro distillation. Lavandins are sterile hybrids of true lavender and spike lavender. The harvest takes place from July to August and the plant is harvested by a machine, which cuts the plants and puts them into bundles. Sometimes the bundles are then left in the field for two days to dry partially. 1 hectare (2.47 acres) of lavandin yields about 120 kg of essential oil.Key AttributesPerfumers describe the scent of lavandin essential oil as generally greasy, aggressive, fruity, with notes of turpentine and fresh eucalyptus, camphorated, aromatic with a hint of warm woods.Lavandin essential oil has softening, toning and antiseptic properties.
