Santa Fe Spices dba Out Of Mexico Chipotle Paste is made with dried chipotle chiles, water and either vinegar (acetic acid) or citric acid. No preservatives or artificial colors are added. It is dark red to cherry color with a smoky, complex flavor and SHU of less than 5,000. It is popular in dips, marinades, soups, and salsas. This product is prepared from ripe Chipotle peppers. Product does not have any preservatives and is not treated with ethylene oxide or propylene oxide.
