Santa Fe Spices dba Out Of Mexico Green Jalapeno Puree is a variety of the New Mexico pod. Also known as Chile Colorado, this is the ripe form of the Green Anaheim Chile. The red Anaheim chile is long, typically eight inches, with a sweet, earthy flavor. It is usually grown in Chihuahua and New Mexico, with a heat range of 500-2,500 SHU. This product is prepared from fresh Jalapeño peppers. Product does not have any preservatives and is not treated with ethylene oxide or propylene oxide.
