  • Selenis Maven MS 110 Ge is a copolyester with a slow crystallization rate and is suitable for the extrusion of heavy gage sheets, allowing for thicknesses up to 6mm, without crystallization occurring. Selenis Maven MS 110 Ge is the most adequate solution for flat sheets up to this thickness range, when excelent clarity, surface gloss, and neutral edge color are required.
  • Selenis Maven MS 110 Ge is recommended when a combination of decorative capability, enhanced graphics, good impact strength at low temperatures and good chemical resistance to detergents and other household cleaning agents, are essential.

Specifications

Processing

In order to obtain maximum product performance, Selenis Maven MS 110 Ge should be dried to achieve a moisture level below 0.004 % (40 ppm) before processing. Typical drying requirements include a dehumidifying air hopper dryer with regenerative desiccant beds, -40°C dew point air, 150oC drying temperature, and a residence time between 4-6 hours, with no temperature ramp.

Typical processing temperatures are between 265 – 275oC and should be chosen in function of the needs of the transformation technology.

Storage and Handling Conditions
  • Selenis Maven MS 110 Ge is an inert material in storage and no hazards are likely to arise; however the polymer should be stored in an area properly protected from risk of fire.
  • Selenis Maven MS 110 Ge should be stored in the original container, tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Avoid direct light contact if the container is stored indoors.
