MAKON DA-6 provides emulsification, moderate foam, detergency and wetting. This products finds application in laundry, textiles, hard surface cleaning, paints, carpet cleaning, hand dishwashing and institutional and industrial cleaning formulations. In addition, this product is an effective emulsifiers and emulsifier blend components for pesticide formulations. It is used as a HLB variable in most formulations and shows good emulsification properties over a wide HLB range.

- MAKON DA-6 is listed in United States (TSCA 61827-42-7), Canada (DSL 61827-42-7), Europe (Polymer Exempt), Philippines (PICCS 61827-42-7), Australia (AICS 61827-42-7), New Zealand (NZloC 61827-42-7), Korea (ECL KE-21507, 61827-42-7), Japan (ENCS 7-97, 61827-42-7) and China (IECSC 61827- 42-7).
- MAKON DA-6 is approved for use as inert ingredients under U.S. EPA 40 CFR 180.910 and 180.930. It is the responsibility of the formulator to review the chemical control regulations for each country where the end product is intended to be sold or used.

- Storage & Handling
Normal safety precautions (i.e., gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling MAKON DA-6. Contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling material.
Bulk Storage Information
Stainless steel and glass fiber-reinforced polyester tanks are recommended. Many oven-cured phenolic and epoxy/phenolic linings may also be used. MAKON DA-6 surfactants which have been stored in drums at temperatures below 60°F (16°C) may thicken or solidify. It may be fluidized by warming with a drum heater or in a steam room. Drums should be vented prior to heating to avoid excessive pressure build up. Product temperatures over 120°F (49°C) are not recommended.
