Storage & Handling

Storage & Handling
  • Normal safety precautions (i.e., gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling STEPWET DOS 60-IP. Contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling. Stepan’s recommended re-test for this product is 6 months from the date of manufacture. After 6 months, we recommend the customer re-analyze to assure product is within specification.
  • It is recommended that STEPWET DOS 60-IP be stored in a cool, dry well ventilated location away from oxidizing agents, acids and ignition sources. Avoid overheating or freezing.
  • Bulk Storage Information: STEPWET DOS 60-IP can be stored in vessels of 316 stainless steel, or glass fiber-reinforced polyester tanks.
Workplace Exposure

Occupational exposure can occur primarily through skin contact or via inhalation of vapors and mists. Engineering controls, personal protective equipment, and other workplace practices should be used to control these exposures.
