Carrera LTC is a clear ceramic coating capable of providing extremely high levels of chemical, corrosion and thermal protection in very thin films. When properly applied Carrera LTC will withstand substrate temperatures over 500°F. Carrera LTC will air cure over a period of 24 hours, though it will be dry to the touch and accept reasonable handling in less than 1 hour and may be placed in service after 8 to 10 hours. Maximum hardness is achieved after 7 days. Carrera LTC requires no surface etch and will bond to extremely smooth surfaces. Simply degrease and apply. The coating cures to a very hard, smooth surface with excellent adhesion. Carrera LTC has excellent resistance to UV. Carrera LTCis solvent based with very low to no V.O.C. depending on formulation.

PowerKote is a thermally cured Dry Film Lubricant. DFL-1 makes use of a unique binding system to retain high temperature stability while reducing friction. The film thickness of DFL-1, as applied, ranges from .0005" to .001". DFL-1 achieves full cure at 300°F, after 1 hour at temperature. When cured, DFL-1 is not affected by most chemicals. DFL-1 is not designed to provide corrosion resistance as it is normally used as a “wet” lubricant in conjunction with oil or other liquid lubricants. The lubricating ingredients in DFL-1 can lubricate at pressures above 350,000 PSI. Parts coated with DFL-1 will experience extended life compared to uncoated parts.

Tech Line Coatings ColorGard HHC Clear Top Coat is a ceramic coating designed to be applied primarily as a top coat over exhaust systems coatings to increase the gloss and corrosion resistance. When applied to exhaust systems HHC will withstand base metal temperatures of over 1300°F, while maintaining color stability. HHC will handle environmental temperatures up to 1600°F. Due to its unique ceramic nature, the coating also functions as a very effective thermal barrier, with reduced thermal radiation characteristics. HHC full cures at 700°F for one hour at temperature. The coating cures to a very hard, durable surface with excellent adhesion

Tech Line Coatings Turbo X is a Silicone / ceramic coating designed to be applied primarily to exhaust systems components. When applied to exhaust systems Turbo X will handle exhaust Gas Temperatures up to 2000°F. Due to its unique ceramic nature, the coating also functions as a very effective thermal barrier, with reduced thermal radiation characteristics. Turbo X full cures at 600°F. for one hour at temperature. The coating cures to a very hard, durable surface with excellent adhesion. Turbo X is designed to be an air drying coating capable of being cured with exhaust heat. In most cases this is acceptable. However initial exhaust gas temperatures at start up are critical, as the extremely high temperatures that can be generated by both lean and rich conditions can damage the resin system before full cure is achieved, leading to a failure of the coating. Corrosion and chemical resistance is only achieved after the coating achieves a complete cure. Turbo X Black is color stable to exhaust gas temperatures of 2000°F.

Tech Line Coatings Black High Heat Base Coat (HHBK) is a metallic ceramic coating capable of providing extremely high levels of thermal protection in very thin films. When applied to exhaust systems HHBK will withstand substrate temperatures of over 2000°F. in addition direct flame will not cause delamination as long as substrate temperatures do not exceed this temperature. Due to its unique ceramic nature, the coating also functions as a very effective thermal barrier, with reduced thermal radiation characteristics.

Tech Line Coatings Black High Heat Base Coat (HHBK)

Tech Line Coatings MCS is a metallic ceramic coating designed as an insulating coating. It is to be used either a a base coat on the OD or as a stand alone coating on the ID. MCS is capable of handling temperatures over 2000°F. MCS does not have good corrosion characteristics and should not be used as an OD coating only. MCS is unaffected by most chemicals. Requires a 500°F cure.

Tech Line Coatings TLML Dry Film Lubricant is a thermally cured Dry Film Lubricant. TLML has been designed to provide high pressure lubrication to surfaces subject to sliding, flexing, rotating or oscillating motion. TLML makes use of several design characteristics in managing friction. The coating applies in a thin film that is based on a resin system that allows the coating to be burnished to a film less than .0003” in thickness, allowing extremely tight clearances to be utilized. The coating may be pre-burnished prior to installation/assembly of a part or will burnish during operation. The coating is also designed to aid in the more even transfer of heat, reducing hot spots. This is particularly beneficial in parts that flex such as a spring. The low 300°F cure temperature allows for the coating to be used on a variety of substrates.
