In 1976 the company began manufacturing Millathane®&nbsp;millable polyurethane rubber. Thanecure Grades Used For Vulcanization Of Millable Urethane Rubbers. They include Thanecure ZM and Thanecure T9 SuperFine (T9SF).

Thanecure

Millathane® millable polyurethane rubber comes in a number of Polyester and Polyether grades and subsequent formulary setups. Polyether grades have better water and hydrolysis resistance than polyester grades, while polyester grades have better heat, oil and compression set resistance than polyether grades. Most Millathane grades are available in a range of viscosities and can be packaged as dense bales or premilled sheets.

Millathane® 97 is a polyether polyurethane rubber having excellent transparency, good wear properties, a high coefficient of friction, and very good UV stability. This polyurethane rubber is designed for applications in shoe soling, roll coverings, and all other applications where transparent, brightly colored, or decorative products are desired.

Millathane® 26 is often used in non-food handling applications, including rollers, because of its hydrolysis resistance and good strength properties. The inherent hydrolysis resistance of polyether urethanes makes it more forgiving in steam autoclave cure processes than polyester grades.

Thanecure® ZM is a cure activator for sulfur cured Millathane® polyurethane rubber. It consists of a partial complex of zinc chloride and MBTS.

Millathane® 5004M (Premilled) is a peroxide-curable millable polyurethane rubber used for production of parts for many applications including seals, gaskets, rollers, and diaphragms.

Millathane® 66R is a peroxide-curable millable polyurethane rubber for the production of oil, fuel and chemical resistant parts which require excellent low and high temperature performance and high mechanical strength.

Millathane® E34 is a sulfur or peroxide curable polyether millable polyurethane rubber used for the production of parts in applications including rollers, seals, footwear, belting, and gaskets. It gives excellent strength and abrasion resistance properties, especially in sulfur cured compounds, and has very good processing characteristics.

Millathane® 55M (Premilled) is a sulfur, peroxide or isocyanate curable polyether millable polyurethane rubber used for the production of rubber covered rollers, belting and other molded articles.

Millathane® 66 is a peroxide-curable millable polyurethane rubber for the production of oil, fuel, and chemical-resistant parts which require excellent low and high-temperature performance and high mechanical strength. As is typical of polyurethanes, it also has excellent abrasion resistance.

Millathane® 76 is a sulfur or peroxide curable polyester millable polyurethane rubber, used in many applications because of its excellent oil resistance, high damping characteristics, and high strength and abrasion resistant properties.

<p>Thanecure Grades Used For Vulcanization Of Millable Urethane Rubbers. They include Thanecure ZM and Thanecure T9 SuperFine (T9SF).</p>

Thanecure® T9 Superfine is the dimer of 2,4-toluene diisocyanate (TDI). It is a polyfunctional isocyanate used as a vulcanizing agent for specialty millable polyurethane rubbers, as a crosslinker for adhesives and as an adhesion promoter for rubber-to-fabric bonding.
