Drinking water - removal of suspended and dissolved matter, color removal. Wastewater treatment – turbidity removal, phosphate removal, heavy metal removal. As well as lime softening applications.
- Product Usage Information
- Used in industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment as a primary coagulant for the removal of turbidity, color, suspended solids, heavy metals, and phosphorus; sludge conditioning, compaction, and volume reduction.
- Oily wastewater clarification and dissolved air flotation; and emulsion breaking.
- Effectively be used in Hydrogen Sulfide control applications to reduce odor and corrosion. Has a low free acidity often reducing caustic or lime demand.
