ELASTOSIL® M silicone rubber has been the ideal solution for the production of molds that are highly elastic and have excellent release properties and optimum durability. These invaluable processing properties make ELASTOSIL® M indispensable, to both industrial and artisan mold makers.

ELASTOSIL® M

SILFAR® is the name of WACKER’s range of silicone-based products specifically intended for the pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as for use in fermentation and other biotech processes. SILFAR® products feature outstanding chemical resistance. They are not resorbed in the digestive tract, and are therefore not metabolized. They are colorless and odorless.

WACKER’s CAVAQ10® is a highly bioavailable coenzyme Q10 powder. This fat-soluble, vitamin-like substance is a known antioxidant. Coenzyme Q10 has been associated with improved cardiovascular health and supporting optimum fuctioning of the cardiac muscle. However, many commercial products do not offer adequate bioavailability. WACKER’s cyclodextrin-encapsulated CAVAQ10® powder, by contrast, has an 18-fold higher bioavailability compared to other CoQ10 products.

CAVAMAX® is the trade name for cyclodextrins from WACKER. We are the only company in the world to manufacture all three naturally occurring cyclodextrins – α, β and γ (CAVAMAX® W6, W7 and W8). CAVAMAX® cyclodextrins have unique properties resulting in a wide range of functionalities, such as stabilization, rheology control, masking of bitterness or increasing bioavailability and much more. This paves the way for innovative food, pharma and industrial applications.

BELSIL® is an extensive range of premium-grade silicones intended specifically for personal care applications, and more especially for hair care, skin care, color cosmetics, and deodorants. BELSIL® products are developed and manufactured in the highest quality and with utmost care, ensuring that the formulations are highly efficient and reliable. With BELSIL®, you can tailor your hair-care or skin-care formulations or color cosmetics to obtain end products that are not only competitive but also meet the needs of the market.

CAVACURMIN® is a highly bioavailable curcumin complex that is around 40 times more efficiently absorbed than standard turmeric extract. The complexation with the naturally occurring oligasaccharide gamma-cyclodextrin results in a free-flowing, easily dispersible powder.

POWERSIL® N 552 White is a one-component silicone dispersion that cures to form a tough high-voltage insulator coating with excellent electrical properties. It offers very good resistance to weathering and outstanding tracking resistance, ensuring its performance in various environmental conditions. Additionally, POWERSIL® N 552 White forms a long-term hydrophobic surface, effectively preventing the formation of wet conductive films and minimizing the risk of pollution flashovers.

ELASTOSIL® 6100 is a one-component, acid-curing, non-sag silicone sealant for general purpose sealing in do-it-yourself (DIY) applications, especially in sanitary areas. ELASTOSIL® 6100 cures at room temperature in the presence of atmospheric moisture to give a permanently flexible silicone rubber.

VINNAPAS® 561 ED is a low Tg polymer dispersion based on vinyl acetate and ethylene. It exhibits excellent elongation, flexibility, and water resistance, making it ideal for numerous construction applications. VINNAPAS® 561 ED exhibits high filler loading capabilities and is compatible with both fully and partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohols, as well as other synthetic latex polymer dispersions (such as styrene/acrylic and pure acrylic dispersions).

VINNAPAS® CEF 52 is a dispersion of a vinyl chloride, ethylene, and vinyl ester terpolymer. It can be used as a binder for coating systems containing an opacifying pigment, such as polymer-modified plasters. The special composition and manufacturing technology mean that VINNAPAS® CEF 52 can be used to formulate very hydrophobic products.

ELASTOSIL® Color Paste FL Steel Blue RAL 5011 K1 is a ready-to-use masterbatch that contains specific pigments and reactive silicone polymers. It is commonly used for producing ELASTOSIL® liquid silicone rubber. This color paste enables homogeneous covulcanization without significantly affecting the physical properties, such as hardness, and without the risk of migration often seen in systems based on silicone oil.

Wacker Chemie Methyl Acetate (MetAc) 97% is a clear, colorless liquid with a mild, ester-like odor. It is produced continuously, with a capacity of several thousand metric tons per year. It has undergone full registration under REACH. This product serves as a solvent in detergent, adhesive, paint, and coating applications.

VINNAPAS® eco EF 1577 is an environmentally conscious product that helps save fossil resources by allowing for the replacement of a portion of the fossil-based raw materials with certified sustainable renewable feedstock. This substitution follows the REDcert² mass balance approach, which is independently audited by a third party. The specific amount of fossil raw material replaced varies depending on the chosen product version and is detailed in the corresponding certificate.

ELASTOSIL® LR 3170/40 A/B is a self-adhesive liquid silicone rubber of the ELASTOSIL® LR 3170 series. It is a paste-like, low-inflammable, two-component compound with an extremely short curing time. The vulcanizates of this product are noted for their excellent mechanical and electrical properties.

SEMICOSIL® 924 is a pourable, thermally curable, addition-curing one-part silicone rubber that cures to a very soft silicone gel. It is a ready-to-use product, requiring no additional mixing. SEMICOSIL® 924 exhibits thixotropic flow, allowing for easy application. Upon vulcanization, it forms a soft gel. This silicone rubber has low levels of volatiles and uncured polymers, contributing to its high purity. It also boasts a low ion content. SEMICOSIL® 924 maintains almost constant properties within a broad temperature range, from -50 °C to +180 °C.
