ELASTOSIL® M silicone rubber has been the ideal solution for the production of molds that are highly elastic and have excellent release properties and optimum durability. These invaluable processing properties make ELASTOSIL® M indispensable, to both industrial and artisan mold makers.

ELASTOSIL® M

SILFAR® is the name of WACKER’s range of silicone-based products specifically intended for the pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as for use in fermentation and other biotech processes. SILFAR® products feature outstanding chemical resistance. They are not resorbed in the digestive tract, and are therefore not metabolized. They are colorless and odorless.

WACKER’s CAVAQ10® is a highly bioavailable coenzyme Q10 powder. This fat-soluble, vitamin-like substance is a known antioxidant. Coenzyme Q10 has been associated with improved cardiovascular health and supporting optimum fuctioning of the cardiac muscle. However, many commercial products do not offer adequate bioavailability. WACKER’s cyclodextrin-encapsulated CAVAQ10® powder, by contrast, has an 18-fold higher bioavailability compared to other CoQ10 products.

CAVAMAX® is the trade name for cyclodextrins from WACKER. We are the only company in the world to manufacture all three naturally occurring cyclodextrins – α, β and γ (CAVAMAX® W6, W7 and W8). CAVAMAX® cyclodextrins have unique properties resulting in a wide range of functionalities, such as stabilization, rheology control, masking of bitterness or increasing bioavailability and much more. This paves the way for innovative food, pharma and industrial applications.

VINNAPAS® is WACKER’s brand name for a versatile range of polymer-based dispersions, powders and resins that are used to improve the properties and performance of products in a wide range of industries. BELSIL® is an extensive range of premium-grade silicones intended specifically for personal care applications, and more especially for hair care, skin care, color cosmetics, and deodorants. BELSIL® products are developed and manufactured in the highest quality and with utmost care, ensuring that the formulations are highly efficient and reliable. With BELSIL®, you can tailor your hair-care or skin-care formulations or color cosmetics to obtain end products that are not only competitive but also meet the needs of the market.

CAVACURMIN® is a highly bioavailable curcumin complex that is around 40 times more efficiently absorbed than standard turmeric extract. The complexation with the naturally occurring oligasaccharide gamma-cyclodextrin results in a free-flowing, easily dispersible powder.

POWERSIL® 730 A/B is a low-viscosity two-component compound known for its excellent processing properties, high tracking and erosion resistance, as well as outstanding mechanical and electrical properties. It is a ready-to-use system that is very easy to process due to its low viscosity. Additionally, it exhibits excellent dielectric properties and high arcing resistance.

POWERSIL® 730 A/B

ELASTOSIL® Color Paste FL Steel Blue RAL 5011 K1 is a ready-to-use masterbatch that contains specific pigments and reactive silicone polymers. It is commonly used for producing ELASTOSIL® liquid silicone rubber. This color paste enables homogeneous covulcanization without significantly affecting the physical properties, such as hardness, and without the risk of migration often seen in systems based on silicone oil.

WACKER® AK 10 is a linear, non-reactive polydimethylsiloxane with a viscosity of approximately 10 mm²/s. Its chemical structure gives it an exceptional property profile that distinguishes it from organic materials like mineral oils. It exhibits good solubility in a wide range of solvents and minimal changes in physical properties over a broad temperature range.

WACKER® GP - General Purpose is a one-component, acid-curing silicone sealant specifically designed for general purpose sealing. It cures at room temperature when exposed to atmospheric moisture, resulting in a permanently flexible silicone rubber. The sealant is suitable for a wide range of sealing applications, including automotive, marine, caravan, and residential use. Additionally, it is well-suited for various general industrial sealing and bonding tasks.

WACKER® AK 200 is a linear, non-reactive polydimethylsiloxane with a viscosity of approximately 200 mm²/s. Its chemical structure gives it an exceptional property profile that distinguishes it from organic materials like mineral oils. It exhibits low surface tension, resulting in high surface activity. Additionally, it is chemically highly unreactive and has a low solidifying point.

WACKER® Polymer FD 350 is a hydroxyfunctional polydimethylsiloxane polymer. It is a colorless, clear, and odorless liquid that is not miscible with water. It is recommended for use in a variety of processing and formulating applications such as sealants, adhesives, coatings, softeners (textile), and mold-making products.

ELASTOSIL® R 427/30 is a high-strength silicone rubber known for its outstanding transparency, excellent tear strength, and exceptional mechanical properties. It is particularly suitable for the production of extruded profiles. The vulcanizing characteristics of this product allow for short cycle times in the manufacturing of molded articles through compression, transfer, and injection molding processes. Post-cured vulcanizates of this product can be utilized in various applications within the healthcare and food handling industries.

ELASTOSIL® R 427/30

ELASTOSIL® LR 3846/30 A/B is a considerable oil-bleeding, liquid silicone rubber of the ELASTOSIL® LR 3846 series. It is a paste-like, readily pigmentable, two-component product with a short curing time. Shortly after the curing process, a slight, thin oil film with lubricating properties forms on the surface of the vulcanizates. The vulcanizates are opaque, have good mechanical and electrical properties, and have very low compression sets.

ELASTOSIL® LR 3846/30 A/B

SILRES® BS 280 CF is a solvent-free silicone concentrate based on silane or siloxane. Like SILRES® BS 280, it can be diluted with organic solvents. Diluted solutions of SILRES® BS 280 CF serve as high-quality water repellents for impregnating mineral building materials, particularly silicate-free natural stones like limestone or gypsum. It also develops its water-repellent effect through a reaction with atmospheric humidity.
