The quality of cured and cooked salami can be put at serious risk by the spread of mold spores. WIBERG provides the answer with specially coated fiber casings: Antimould and Antimould R feature a special treatment which actively supports the battle against the undesired formation of mold and provides long-term mold protection for first-class cured sausage and cooked salami products. The innovative coating reduces the growth of microorganisms on the exterior of the casing and helps to prevent the multiplication of germs and mold.

The protective effect of the casing is maintained throughout all conventional handling steps in cured sausage and cooked salami production and cannot be washed or rubbed off.
