Low viscosity resin that is easily applied. Topping cures in the presence of moisture and adheres to damp concrete. Topping cures rapidly and may be used within hours, depending on temperature and humidity conditions. Topping has a high impact, tensile and bond strength for concrete and steel. Towmotor traffic does not damage topping.

For ALL Surfaces
1 Old coatings and toppings must be removed. 2 Surface must be sound and free of oil, grease and foreign materials. 3 Concrete maybe damp but must be free of standing water. (The drier the concrete, the better the bond.)- Mixing
For a 1/4″ (250 mil) coating, mix the A, B and C components of AC 969+ according to the following instructions:
1 Pour the Armor Coat 969+ Resin (Part A) into a clean, dry mixing container. 2 Add AC 969+ Cure (Part B) to Resin (Part A) in the proportions of 5.5 parts A to 1 part B by volume. 3 Stir with a wooden stirring stick (4′ x 1″ x 2″) for at least 3 minutes or stir with a low speed (200-300rpm) power mixer for at least 2 minutes. 4 Pour the completely mixed Armor Coat 969+ Resin and Cure into a 5-gallon pail, concrete mixer or a wheelbarrow for further mixing. 5 Add the Armor Coat 969+ Slurry Aggregate (Part C) into the mixed Resin (Part A) and Cure (Part B), and mix well until all the particles are wetted out. 6 MIXING EXAMPLE: Add one (1) quart Cure (B) to five and one-half (5.5) quarts Resin (A) in a 5-gallon pail. Mix well. Add two (2) 5-quart paint pots of Slurry Aggregate (C) or sand. Mix well until all particles are wetted out. 7 To mix resin for grouting add sand slowly until the mixture is dough consistency or non-slumping.- Application
For 1/4″ (250 mil) Coating:
1 Pour the Armor Coat 969+ slurry aggregate mixture onto the surface to be coated and spread to the desired thickness with a clean, short nap roller or trowel. 2 Allow the AC 969+ to set 15-20 minutes and then broadcast sand onto the surface until there are no wet spots. 3 Allow the resin to harden and sweep off any excess sand. The floor is now ready to use. 4 To trowel finish the floor, wet trowel with water or solvent and trowel smooth. If a more non-skid surface is required, broadcast more sand onto the surface. 5 Water may be used to remove the Armor Coat 969+ from trowels and other equipment, if clean-up is started before the mixture begins to set. After the AC 969+ has begun to set, a solvent such as methyl ethyl ketone, xylol or methylene chloride may be used for clean-up. 6 Smooth surface – flood coat with AC 969+ A & B resin and cure only.- Limitations
Do not use AC 969+ resin without sand aggregate when grouting areas deeper than 1/4″. Maximum coating thickness for AC 969.1 Vertical Kit is 1/16″. AC 969+, WHEN EXPOSED TO SOME STRONG ACIDS, WILL TURN RED on the exposed surface area
however, the integrity of the topping will not be affected.- Coverage and Estimating
