Shakespeare® terpolymer series are linear polyamide grades with unique solubility characteristics and physical properties. They are compatible with other nylons and are ideal nylon carrier resins for color and functional additives requiring excellent dispersion and high loading. The resins offer improved adhesion to glass and metal surfaces. Selected grades are soluble in alcohol and can be applied by solution coating techniques.

MF9 issuitable for such applications as clips, fasteners, gears, bushings and bearings, and other uses where long term creep and wear resistance are required.

Nylene Duratel MF3 is a high-viscosity acetal co-polymer. Duratel MF3 has slightly higher toughness than standard MF9, and parts molded with MF3 should have thicker wall sections and shorter flow lengths to accommodate the higher viscosity. MF3 is suitable for such applications as clips, fasteners, gears, bushings and bearings, and other uses where long term creep and wear resistance are required.

Nylene Medium viscosity, fast cycle molding resin.Crystallization initiators provide fast molding cycles through rapid melt set-up.Parts molded from NX1440 have better dimensional stability at moisture equilibrium than parts molded from conventional nylon.Suitable for such uses as clips and fasteners, bushings, small levers, gears, and window hardware.Optimum processing conditions should provide a melt temperature of 460 - 480°F at the nozzle.

Nylene Nylene 5130 PT15 is a low wear 30% glass fiber reinforced nylon 6/6 using Nylene 5130 PT15 provides a low friction and very low wear surface while maintaining the high strength and stiffness required from a glass fiber reinforced material. 5130 PT15 is suitable for applications such as bushings and bearings, wear plates, and other parts where high strength with maximum wear resistance is required.
