Octopol TMQ is primarily used as a corrosion inhibitor and is an excellent rust inhibitor. Some typical uses for Octopol TMQ are in compressor/engine/gear oils, greases, and petroleum lubes. It is an additive compatible with greases, industrial and automotive gear oils oils. Typical use levels are .25– 1.0 percent by weight in lubricating greases and industrial gear oil.

FASTEX® FBOHD15W40 is a multi-purpose oil blended from selected high viscosity index (VI) base stocks and low–ash additives that are formulated with a Fastex® Surface Modifier, which provides exceptionally advanced anti-wear (AW) and extreme pressure (EP) features. It can be used in all high and medium-speed diesel or gas engines regardless of operating severity and service. Its wide applications include mixed Automotive and Transit Fleets, Construction Operations, stationary Industrial diesel engines and certain engines in the Marine service. It can maintain its multi-grade performance over the entire life of the oil and will show very little loss of viscosity in service at both high and low temperatures.

DeoxIT® Shield S100L is a metal surface lubricant and protector. Deterrent to oxidation and corrosion. Improves conductivity and keeps signal quality at its peak. Liquid-O-Ring® 3500 Red Gear Oil provides lubrication for bearings and gears, particularly those operating under severe service conditions. 3500 Red Gear Oil, is a 85/140 wt. oil, forms a lubricating film that prevents metal-to-metal contact and reduces operating temperatures. It is waterproof, nonfoaming, and resistant to oxidation and corrosion. 3500 Red Gear Oil also reduces wear as much as 60%. It has a drain interval of 4 to 5 times longer than commercial gear oils.

Octopol PTB is a synergistic extreme pressure composition found to give superior anti-wear and antioxidant features contributed to the oil by the particular borate dispersion. Octopol PTB has fluid or semi-fluid consistencies that are desirable for open gears and bearings. This extreme pressure additive has usages in gear sets found in gas compressors, high-pressure hydraulic systems, automotive transmission differentials, and other types or bearings where high-load conditions are prevalent. To avoid the undesirable effects of uncompounded oil under high-load conditions, borates are widely used EP and anti-wear additives. By building a resilient film caused by inorganic borate spheres interacting with metal load-bearing surfaces, this borate dispersion is able to provide outstanding wear protection and load-carrying capacity. The lubricant becomes very stable due to the small size and low density of the dispersed borate.
