Our product line consists of foam control agents, non-ionic surfactants, release agents and hydrophobic silica that are used as additives in a wide range of consumer packaged goods and chemical formulations. Ivanhoe’s market focus is predominately food processing, fermentation, and agricultural applications, but we are developing industrial markets such as oil field, lubricants, and wastewater treatment applications. Ivanhoe has always utilized bio-based raw materials to manufacture our products and always consider sustainable and environmentally friendly concepts in our product development. In 1938, James D. Robinson had a genius idea - the Auto Chlor System (Automatic Chlorination System). When installed, the equipment puts the optimal amount of sanitizer in dishwasher rinse water. Robinson patented his device the next year, in 1939, and aimed to change how people washed their dishes and maintained their sanitation.

In 1944 Auto-Chlor System became one of the first contributing members of the National Standards Foundation (NSF), and is still a part of the Joint Committee for Food Equipment today.
