Lo-Vel® 66 belongs to PPG's synthetic precipitated silica product line, which reduces the gloss of coatings, varnishes, and other finishes. It offers high flatting efficiency, compatibility with various coating systems, and ease of redispersion. This product line delivers a balance of clarity and flatting for overprint varnish and topcoats. It can be used in solvent- or water-based coatings, high-solids, 100%-solids, and 2K systems, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of applications.

LO-VEL® 8300 flatting agent is a synthetic amorphous precipitated silica treated with a functionalized wax. It is designed for use in waterborne and solvent-borne coatings, and is suitable for coatings with a dry film thickness of less than 1 mil (< 20 microns).

JetFil® P350 is an off-white, high-purity, extremely platy talc with more than 98% talc content. This product is recommended for improving stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability in general-purpose and commodity plastics applications. JetFil® P350 could also help in achieving good long-term thermal stability (heat aging).

AFCONA 2050 is a strong defoamer for most solvent-based coatings. AFCONA 2050 offers very strong defoaming and anti-foam performance with good compatibility in many resin systems. It is suitable for solvent-based coatings, printing inks and thermosetting resin systems. The product eliminates foam and blistering, regardless of whether the air bubbles are caused by the substrate.

AFCONA 4017 is a polymeric dispersant mainly used for co-grinding. AFCONA 4017 is a polymeric dispersant mainly developed for co-grinding purposes for coil and can coating, heat cured polyester and acrylic, and epoxy, as well as polyurethane. This product does not depend on polarity and performs well in almost all resin systems, especially when co-grinding dark colors.

AFCONA 4047 is a high molecular weight polymeric dispersant for the deflocculation of all types of pigments. AFCONA 4047 is a highly effective polymeric dispersant used to stabilize inorganic and organic pigments, as well as carbon blacks. Steric hindrance provides very good stability performance with all type of pigments.

AFCONA 5054 is a wetting and dispersing additive to prevent sedimentation and flooding of pigments. It helps to reduce interfacial tension between hydrophilic pigments/extenders and the binder, forming a lattice structure with the pigments at the same time. It stabilizes pigment through electrical charge repulsion forces.

Dar-Tech Hauthane L-3615 is a Dar-Tech Hauthane polyurethane dispersion that provides tough, chemically resistant, glossy coatings. The product has excellent flexibility and gloss retention characteristics. It may be applied to a variety of substrates, including concrete, metals, plastics, and wood materials. It is mainly used in architectural coatings, DIY brush varnishes, and wood furniture.

Dar-Tech Hauthane HD-2602 is an aliphatic, silicone-modified, polyester-based, waterborne polyurethane dispersion. It was designed primarily for topcoat applications where slip resistance and abrasion resistance are required. HD-2602 contains a non-fugitive silicone component that provides low surface tension characteristics on flexible and rigid substrates, including plastics, metals, and textiles.

Dar-Tech Hauthane HD-2107 DMM is a hard, NMP-free, APEO-free, aliphatic, polyester-based, aqueous polyurethane dispersion with an exceptional balance of properties. This product is a balance of toughness, abrasion resistance, and mar resistance, designed for topcoat applications on a wide variety of substrates, including concrete, metal, plastic, and wood.

AFCONA 2720 is an anti-foam and de-aeration additive for use in unsaturated polyesters, coil and can coatings, epoxies and PVC-compounds. It supports the quick deaeration of thermosetting resin systems, allowing for the production of foam-free and blister-free self-leveling compounds and laminates. Additionally, AFCONA 2720 is suitable for use in can and coil coatings, where it is less likely to cause side effects such as inconsistent craters in the line.

Nicron® 002 is a high-purity microcrystalline talc. The lamellar nature of Nicron® 002 enhances film strength and flexibility in sealant formulations and provides barrier properties in architectural and industrial primers and topcoats to improve corrosion resistance and stain-blocking ability. Nicron® 002 is used in topcoats, block fillers, traffic paints, texture paints, and composite compounds.

ASCOTRAN® H14 is a ready-to-use, liquid-form, anti flash-rust additive for waterborne coatings. It functions as a hydrophobic agent, providing protection for the almost dry film in severe ambient humidity conditions. Additionally, it serves as a corrosion inhibitor for metal packaging protection.

Dar-Tech Hauthane HD-4669 is a hard, co-solvent-free, aliphatic, aqueous polyurethane dispersion. It was designed for topcoat applications on a wide variety of substrates, including concrete, metal, plastic, and wood. This grade can be used as a sole vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions for spray, dip, or rotogravure applications. It may be thickened with associative thickeners for alternative application methods.

JetFil® P500 is an off-white, high-purity, extremely platy, fine talc. It is recommended for improving stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability in general-purpose plastics applications, including sheets and thermoformed plastics. It could also help in achieving good long-term thermal stability (heat aging).

Dar-Tech Portaryte® D50 is produced from carefully selected, naturally occurring off-white baryte. Dar-Tech Portaryte® D is successfully used in applications where excellent chemical inertness is required but high brightness and consistent color are less important, e.g., primers, sealants, and adhesives. The exceptionally high density of baryte makes Dar-Tech Portaryte® D an economical filler of choice for sound deadening in automotive and domestic applications (e.g. sewer pipes). The quality of Dar-Tech Portaryte® D is guaranteed by an ISO 9001-certified quality management plan. Synprint AC 7150 is a water-based, alkali-solubilized styrene-acrylic copolymer used as an alkali-soluble resin in inks and overprint varnishes to improve gloss and leveling. It can also be used in pigment dispersions to improve color development and pigment dispersion gloss.

Ti-Pure™ R-900 is a rutile titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigment with a simplified surface design that opens an extended range of performance options. Hi-Sil® T-152 is a thickening agent that belongs to PPG's Hi-Sil® product line of synthetic, amorphous, precipitated silicas that are rheology modifiers and anti-sag/suspension agents. Hi-Sil® T-152 is a premium-grade thixotrope designed specifically for adhesive and sealant applications. Its unique physical characteristics make Hi-Sil® T-152 thickening agent a more efficient and cost-effective alternative to fumed silica in certain applications.

Nicron® 554 is a high-purity microcrystalline talc. Access Rudolf Organosilane AE301-1H is a specially designed water-repellent agent that is used for treating building materials such as concrete, masonry, and natural stone. Mistron® 604 is a high-purity microcrystalline talc with more than 98% talc content. ASCONIUM® 114 can replace mineral anti-corrosion pigments or improve their performance in waterborne or solventborne metal coatings. It is a hydrophobic agent that improves the water resistance of dry films. This ASCONIUM® grade can be used as the sole anti-corrosion additive in coatings or in conjunction with other anti-corrosion pigments to improve their performance. As a liquid-type additive, it is easy to incorporate into coating formulations and will not reduce the gloss of the coating’s dry film.

Nicron® 674 is an ultra-fine, high-purity microcrystalline talc. It is insoluble in mineral acids, hydrophobic, and non-abrasive to compounding and processing equipment. Nicron® 674 is used in a wide variety of applications, including interior/exterior coatings, color concentrates, adhesives, sealants, and thermoplastic polymers.

It is a hydrophobic agent that improves the water resistance of dry films. This ASCONIUM® grade can be used as the sole anti-corrosion additive in coatings or in conjunction with other anti-corrosion pigments to improve their performance. As a liquid-type additive, it is easy to incorporate into coating formulations and will not reduce the gloss of the coating’s dry film.

Mistron® 403 is a high-purity, platy, microcrystalline talc. In architectural and industrial primers, it provides barrier properties to improve corrosion resistance and stain-blocking ability. Mistron® 403 also prevents tannin bleed and improves gloss uniformity in solid-color and semi-transparent stains. In sealant formulations, Mistron® 403 enhances film strength and flexibility.

Nicron® 604 is a high-purity microcrystalline talc. Nicron® 604 is also used in paints to improve sag resistance and maximize prime pigment extension.

Dar-Tech Hauthane HD-2139 is an aliphatic, polyester-based, aqueous urethane dispersion specifically developed for factory-coated PVC flooring. It was developed as a high-gloss, no-wax topcoat for expanded PVC flooring. Can be factory applied as a fused coating during PVC expansion. HD-2139 is ideally suited for PVC roll or sheet goods requiring a 180-degree reverse bend.

Nicron® 353 is a high-purity microcrystalline talc. The lamellar nature of Nicron® 353 enhances film strength and flexibility and provides barrier properties in architectural and industrial primers to improve corrosion resistance and stain-blocking ability. Nicron® 353 is also used for rheology and film reinforcement in adhesive, sealant, caulk, joint compound, wood putty, and auto body patch applications.

Synprint AC 5151 is an acrylic polymer based on multiphase technology. This is a proprietary process that combines two different types of polymers in the same polymer network. It allows a balanced combination and an overall improvement of the physical properties of the two polymers. Synprint AC 5151 forms a film with very high gloss, blocking resistance, rub resistance, and printability with various types of inks. It also exhibits excellent adhesion to various substrates.

Synprint AC 2910 is an inherently matte acrylic polymer. This technology produces a film with low gloss without the additional use of waxes or powders and brings flexibility and excellent stability while providing excellent adhesion to various substrate types. It is recommended to be fortified with another resin, such as Synprint AC 5151 or similar, to improve the overall film properties.
