Bomar™ BRC-443 is a difunctional, hydrophobic urethane acrylate which can be formulated to be used in heavy-duty industrial and commercialapplications. The resulting tough film makes an effective non-yellowing, protective single-coating that extends the substrate’s use-life. The low water absorption and acid and alkaline resistance make this oligomer perfect for the following industries: aerospace, appliance, automotive, electronics, industrial, medical device, metal finishing, and UV-curable inks & coatings. BRC-443 exhibits retention of mechanical properties after exposure to high temperatures (200oC for 30 minutes). In addition to the adhesion properties below, BRC-443 also shows excellent adhesion to ABS, PVC, PMMA, Nylon-6, and Polystyrene

Bomar BR-202, an aromatic polyether urethane dimethacrylate, finds use in a diverse number of UV coating applications. BR-202 is valued for its strong bond strength, its affinity for glass, steel, and a variety of plastic substrates, and for its excellent elongation. BR-202 is also of value for its low initial color (despite its aromatic nature).

Bomar™ BRC-841 is a low-molecular-weight, difunctional, hydrophobic urethane acrylate that can be effectively formulated for steel and various plastichard coatings. The resulting hard, tough film makes an effective non-yellowing protective single-coating. The low water absorption and alkaline resistance make BRC-841 ideal for the following industries: aerospace, automotive, appliances, cosmetic, electronic, industrial, medical devices, metal finishing, and UV-curable inks and coatings.

Bomar™ BR-641D is a Polybutadiene (PBD) urethane acrylate, which was designed to meet rigorous electronic coating applications. This oligomer has exceptional adhesion to various metals, glass,and polycarbonate substrates. BR-641D has many desirable properties that are typical to PBD resins, combined with radiation curability. In applications requiring thermal cycling resistance, BR-641D withstands the extremes of temperature typical of such tests, without undue degradation of properties. In addition to the adhesion properties listed in the table below, BR-641D showed excellent adhesion to PMMA, ABS, PVC, Nylon-6, Polystyrene,and Polypropylene.

Bomar BR-116 oligomer, a trifunctional, aromatic polyether urethane methacrylate, is used in the manufacture of soft coatings and adhesives which are made to adhere to metals and glass. BR-116 offers superior bond strength and excellent reduction capabilities in common monomers.

BOMAR® XR-145S, a high molecular weight, trifunctional, aliphatic polyether urethane methacrylate, provides low formulation viscosity and moderate elongation with non-yellowing properties. XR-145S shows adhesion to a variety of substrates, making it a candidate for consideration in mixed surface adhesion applications. It is mainly used in coatings for glass and primer coatings.

BR-742M is a medium molecular weight, difunctional, aliphatic polyester urethane methacrylate offering excellent adhesion, flexibility, and hardness balance. BR-742M offers an excellent balance of gloss, low heat generation, low color, and low MeHQ for nail coating applications. It canalso be effectively formulated for adhesion to steel, aluminum, and glass. Due to its low solvent resistance, it can be formulated into solvent strippable temporary coatings. This material has low skin sensitivity for dental and cosmetic applications.

Bomar™ BR-742S is a difunctional, polyester Urethane Acrylate Oligomer that offers good weatherability. High-impact-strength coatings and inks can be formulated that are non-yellowing and have high gloss. This material offers low shrinkage, which is excellent for 3D printing applications. Furthermore, BR-742S is registered with INCI for cosmetic applications.

Bomar™ BR-744SD is a difunctional, aliphatic polyester urethane acrylate offering excellent adhesion, flexibility, and tensile strength. It can be effectively formulated for adhesion to steel, aluminum, and various plastics. Products formulated with BR-744SD can be highly flexible, elastomeric, and tacky. It is excellent as an adhesion promoter or reactive tackifier, and is a perfect choice for optically clear UV-PSAs.

This oligomer is also tougher then BRC-843. Bomar™BR-640Dis a polybutadiene (PBD) urethane acrylate with a functionality of two. Designed to meet rigorous electronic applications, BR-640D has many desirable properties typical to PBD resins, combined with radiation curability. In applications requiring thermal cycling resistance, BR-640Dwithstands the extremes of temperature typical of such tests, without undue degradation of properties.Excellent hydrophobic properties exhibited where 0.012 and 0.037% water was absorbed by cured coating when submerged in water for 24 hours. In addition to the adhesion properties, BR-640D showed excellent adhesion to ABS, acrylic, nylon-6, PVC, and PS.

BOMAR BR-204, an aromatic polyether urethane dimethacrylate, finds use in a diverse number of UV adhesives applications. BR-204 is valued for its strong bond strength, its affinity for glass, steel, and a variety of plastic substrates, and for its excellent elongation. BR-204 is also of value for its low initial viscosity and low color (despite its aromatic nature). It is mainly used in Primer Coatings and Glass Coatings.

Bomar® BRS-14320S is a difunctional oligomer that combines a robust silicone backbone into a urethane acrylate oligomer. The resulting product provides an unusual combination of desirable properties: softness, flexibility, and temperature resistance. BRS-14320S is a candidate for consideration in formulating 100% UV soft-touch coatings and also for electronics applications

Bomar®BR-641E is a polybutadiene urethane acrylate oligomer designed for rigorous electronic coating, flexible ink,and pressure-sensitive adhesive applications. This oligomer is also perfect for extremely low water absorption applications. It is resistant to thermal cycling and can withstand the temperature extremes typical of such tests without undue degradation of properties.
