PhytoDefense CLR™ is carefully designed for the care of hyper-reactive and irritable skin. It essentially reduces the sensitivity of skin by its goal-oriented approach to the most important features of sensitive skin: burning/stinging/itching sensations and skin redness. Skin irritations as well as skin redness are noticeably reduced. PhytoDefense CLR™ is obtained from Magnolia grandiflora, known in traditional medicine for its potent calming and soothing properties.

Thixcin® R PC is a non-hygroscopic derivative of castor oil that imparts a high degree of thixotropic thickening in cosmetics mineral, vegetable and silicones oils, as well as low-polarity aliphatic solvents. Thixcin® R PC provides thixotropy and imparts good pay-off in stick products; improves product stability when used in the oil phase of emulsions, and can be used as a binder in pressed powder formulations.

Ariix Sodium Xylene Sulfonate 90% Powder is comprised of Sodium xylenesulphonate. It is commonly used as Anti Caking Agent, Anti Fungal Agent, Cleansing Agent, Coupling Agent, Dispersing Agent, Emulsifying Agent, Hydrotrope, Solubilizer, etc for a variety of applications in Household Cleaning, Other Personal Care and Food Packaging. A blend of Carnauba and other waxes that increases hardness and gloss of decorative cosmetics and sticks. It gives increased temperature stability to cosmetic products and is a good oil binder and co-emulsifier.

This grade is designed to impart rheological control and suspension to organic- and silicone-based cosmetics. BENTONE GEL VS-5 PC V is a specially prepared dispersion of an organically modified hectorite in a D5 silicone.

Morouj Acacia Senegal Kibbled Gum is made from Acacia senegal Lump Gum, which is sourced in the production zones by our own employees and cleaned, stored, and packed in our own facilities.

Beeswax Care 144 is a 100% pure, bleached beeswax. It is used as a consistency factor in creams and ointments. It acts as a stabilizer in cold-creams and improves the handling of stick-paste. Beeswax Care 144 is widely used outside the field of natural cosmetics or pharmaceutical preparations, such as in candles, coatings, and polishes.

SS BPO is an encapsulation technology designed to enhance the acne treatment and tackle these BPO issues. SS BPO has superior stability and is more easily incorporated into finished products. Additionally, SS BPO has been designed to be compatible when combined with other encapsulated SalSphere® Rx actives for acne to maximize the efficiency without compromising stability.

AGENAFLO 9050 is a lipophilic (= hydrophobically modified) waxy corn starch. Common uses include lotions, creams, sunscreens, deodorants, and mineral cosmetics. AGENAFLO 9050 absorbs excess moisture and sebum without whitening. It reduces tackiness and greasiness while giving skin a velvety appearance.

BENTONE GEL SS71 V delivers a combination of benefits in a single, easy to use product. It is designed to impart rheological control and suspension to organic- and silicone-based cosmetics.

Morouj Organic Acacia MUK17 is purified and spray-dried in the UK from 100 percent organic Acacia seyal gum sourced in the production zones by our own staff and is Soil Association certified organic.

Jarcol™ H2280 is a fatty alcohol used as an emollient, co-emulsifier / stabilizer and thickening agent. It is an oily component for cosmetic and pharmaceutical preparations such as W/O creams, sun tan oils and skin oils. This product is also a dispersing agent for color pigments, superfatting agent for washing lotions, foam baths, and alcohol-containing preparations, and as a raw material for biodegradable surfactants.

RHEOLUXE 811 is a high efficiency polyurethane thickener developed for use in aqueous systems. RHEOLUXE 811 is readily dispersible in water and water/organic mixtures. It has been especially designed for use in anhydrous formulations, where water is added at point of use. RHEOLUXE 811 is also particularly useful in emulsions and can be used in “cold process” systems. It is a non-ionic thickener, which provides shear thinning viscosity control of the emulsion’s and improves application properties.

Gilugel® JOB when added to W/O emulsion improves thixotropic behavior, rub-in, extends moisturizing effect and makes excellent skin feel. Perfect for sun protective formulation with higher water resistance required.

Ozokerite Wax will increase viscosity, assist in emulsion stability and enhance gel strength in liquid and solid systems. Generally a hard wax with a relatively high melt point, these characteristics warrant its use in lipsticks, lip care products, and others to promote structure and stick strength. Each Ozokerite Wax has specific gelling capacity; please be sure to speak to your S&P sales representative to select the most appropriate code for your formulation.

Ceresine Waxes are generally lower melt point blends compared to Ozokerite Waxes. As such Ceresine Waxes don't offer the same strong gel capability as higher melt point Ozokerite Waxes.

Rheomer® SC-Plus is a rheology modifier designed for oil-in-water emulsions. In addition to efficient viscosity building, this polymer helps stabilize oil-in-water formulations and allows the incorporation of electrolytes or electrolytecontaining ingredients, as well as color pigments, titanium dioxide and other similar particles.

ZeMac™ E400 is an alternating copolymer of ethylene and maleic anhydride with Mn of about 95,000 and Mw of 400,000 available in powder form. It has applications in glass sizing, in microencapsulation and as a viscosity modifier for water-based solutions. It is also available in aqueous solutions as ZeMac™ Solution S403520 and ZeMac™ Solution S407015 for these applications and as a pellet form as ZeMac™ Extend M4001 in an ethylene-butyl acrylate copolymer carrier resin for plastic compounding applications. In microencapsulation applications it is one of the best additives available for controlling the particle size and particle size distribution of the microcapsules. It is typically packaged for commercial shipment either in fiber drums containing 68 kg. or in supersacks containing 400 kg.

Lexemul® AS MB is a 100% natural, electrolyte tolerant, self-emulsifying glyceryl monostearate designed for use as an emulsifier, stabilizer, opacifier, and emollient in anionic systems. Because it is acid stable, Lexemul® AS MB can be used in acidic systems as low as pH 4-5 as well as alkaline systems. The self-emulsifying properties of Lexemul® AS MB minimize the need for co-emulsifiers in many systems.

Lexemul® T MB is a 100% natural self-emulsifying and stabilizing anionic glyceryl monostearate system. It is designed to be the primary emulsifier for O/W emulsion systems, minimizing the need for co-emulsifiers in many formulations.

MultiSal® technology is a doublelayered encapsulation system composed of a microsphere containing sub-micron spheres (Figure 1). Jaguar® HP-105 is a high molecular weight hydroxypropyl guar, non-ionic thickening agent that is effective at low concentrations for transparent formulations. This product allows the formulation of transparent gel products which can be pumped and/or sprayed, helping stabilize emulsions.

Jarpol™ PVP K90 is a water-soluble non-ionic homopolymerof Vinylpyrrolidone. It can best be characterized as a film-former but can also act as a thickener. Jarpol™ PVP K90 is suitable in water-based formulations such as hair gels and providesa high degree of clarity often desired in this application. Jarpol™ PVP K90 tends to provide a hard, glossy, transparent film andis best for products with a strong hold and high viscosity.

A mixture of hydrocarbon waxes composed of predominantly branched chains, provides this microcrystalline wax with consistency, regulating and gel forming properties. Forms fine crystals and stable structures due to its good absorption of mineral and vegetable oils.

Lubrajel Natural is composed of a crosslinked polysaccharide interbiopolymer complex with glycerin and an Ecocert compliant preservative system of benzoic acid and sorbic acid.
