HALOX® 650 is an organic corrosion inhibitor primarily designed for coatings and primers on metal surfaces. It is specifically formulated for use in solvent-borne or powder-coating applications to provide long-term corrosion protection. HALOX® 650 can be used in a variety of applications, including coil coatings, resins such as thermoplastic acrylics or epoxies, powder coating systems such as polyester or TGIC, acid-catalyzed thermosetting systems such as melamine or urea-formaldehyde, and wash (etch) primers based on PVB.

Inhibisil® 73 anti-corrosion pigment is a calcium oxide-containing synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide. It is designed for use where thin film anti-corrosive protection is needed. Its high calcium oxide content, ease of dispersion, and high Hegman value provide formulation flexibility and expanded process capability.

It is a highly effective inhibitor against flash rusting on ferrous substrates (such as galvanized steel) during the aqueous paint phase. Typical use levels range from 0.25 – 1.0% based upon total formula weight. It can be used in any water based primer or DTM system. Waynflash™ 115 exhibits good paint stability and can be incorporated at any stage of paint manufacturing. It is both HAPS and APEO free.

NiCHEM No. 11 Strontium Phosphate is a non-toxic anti-corrosive, lead free, chrome free, pigment exhibiting outstanding resistance to salt spray, rust creepage and flash rusting in water systems as well as solvent type primers. It is a fine white powder that has a particle size between 10 to 20 μm.

Delaphos® 4 is a pigment that will inhibit metal surface corrosion when properly incorporated in a wide variety of solvent based and water based paint primer systems.

Pigmentan PIGMENTAN 465M-FG is a premium environmentally friendly anticorrosive pigment. Suitable for thin film solvent based primers. Excellent cost effectiveness and performance.PIGMENTAN 465M-FG is useful both for low film weights, and for easier dispersion of the anti-corrosive pigment into the paint system.

raybo 85 Rustib is a cationic wetting agent. Because of its polarity, it is attracted to the metal surface forming a mono-molecular hydrophobic layer. This affinity increases adhesion and resistance to corrosion undercutting in coatings containing RAYBO 85. When added to coatings pigmented with transition metals containing pigments like phthalocyanine blue, insure that the surfactant demand has been met. If it has not, RAYBO 85 will be absorbed onto the pigment, reducing corrosion protection.

Hybricor™ 204 - Hybrid Corrosion Inhibitor Pigment is an organic/inorganic hybrid corrosion inhibitor pigment, a proven effective replacement for Cr6+ in aerospace primer applications on aluminum and other non-ferrous substrates. The fine particle size of Hybricor™ 204 (7 Hegman) permits it to be easily incorporated into a coating using a high speed disperser. It is effective in primers, DTM and thin film (< 20 micron) applications. It does not affect pot life of 2K systems. Use level varies by intended application requirements.

Typical used levels range from 0.25 – 1.0% max. based upon total formula weight. It is highly versatile and can be used in any water based systems. Waynflash™ 111 exhibits good paint stability and can be incorporated at any stage of paint manufacturing. It is both HAPS and APEO free.

PHOPHINOX PZ06 is a basic Zinc phosphate designed to be more reactive than standard Zinc phosphate in PU and alkyd systems. It is a stable and non-hygroscopic white powder with a low tinting strength, it is easily dispersed. PHOSPHINOX PZ06 is an alternative to chromates, for instance it successfully replaces chromates in wash primers.

Novinox®PAZ is a corrosion inhibiting pigment suitable for a wide range of applications, from DIY to more demanding ones such as coil coatings. It is a stable and non-hygroscopic white powder with a low tinting strength, it is easily dispersed. Novinox®PAZ is suitable with a wide range of resins, both solvent and water based. Novinox®PAZ is also an excellent alternative to Strontium chromate in coil coatings.

Delaphos® 2 is a pigment that will inhibit metal surface corrosion when properly incorporated in a wide variety of solvent based and water based paint primer systems.

Novinox®ACE20 is a corrosion inhibiting pigment suitable for a wide range of applications, from DIY to more demanding ones such as coil coatings. It is a stable and non-hygroscopic white powder with a low tinting strength, it is easily dispersed. Novinox®ACE20 is a modified Zinc phosphate designed to be non toxic for the environment. As it contains more than 90% of PZ20, the replacement of Zinc phosphate by Novinox®ACE20 in formulations is straightforward. Like PZ20, Novinox®ACE20 is compatible with a wide range of solvent and water based resins.

SNCZ Zinc Phosphate PZ20 is a corrosion inhibiting pigment suitable for a wide range of applications, from DIY to more demanding ones such as coil coatings. It is a stable and non-hygroscopic white powder with a low tinting strength, it is easily dispersed. Thanks to its low solubility, Zinc phosphate PZ20 is compatible with a wide range of solvent and water based resins.

Wayncor™ 240 - Corrosion Inhibitor Pigment is a white Basic Zinc Molybdate anti-corrosive pigment which imparts good corrosion resistance to protective primers. It has a wide variety use in thermo set and thermo plastic systems. It can be used alone or in conjunction with other anti-corrosive additives. The typical use level for this product is between 3 – 7% based on total formula weight. It has a small particle size and narrow distribution which will permit it to be used in wash primers, DTM, or primer applications.

NiCHEM No. 2Y Basic Lead Silico Chromate is an excellent corrosion inhibitor that is easy dispersing basic silicon lead chromate and extremely stable. It is used in metal protective coatings and is specified for use in metal primers and finishes by state transportation departments and federal agencies. It has excellent color permanency and may be used in a variety of anti-corrosive finishes.

Pigmentan PIGMENTAN EMX is a low cost, high performance, environmentally friendly, direct (1:1) substitute for basic Zinc Phosphate. It is suitable for use in primers for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Pigmentan MX is non toxic and contains no Zinc, Chrome, or other heavy metals, and does not require hazardous labeling.

Michem® Prime 4983R provides outstanding adhesion to both metallic and cellulosic substrates and enhances the water, grease, oil, and solvent-resistance of coatings and adhesives. It can serve as a tie coat or primer for extrusion coatings, a foil laminate, specialty paper coating, paper sizing agent, heat sealable coating, and a nonwoven binder, and used as a thermally active binder in thermal transfer release coatings.

Habicor® ZA is a Zinc phosphate based anticorrosive pigment. Chemical Structure is Modified zinc aluminum polyphosphate.
