SILFAR® is the name of WACKER’s range of silicone-based products specifically intended for the pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as for use in fermentation and other biotech processes. SILFAR® products feature outstanding chemical resistance. They are not resorbed in the digestive tract, and are therefore not metabolized. They are colorless and odorless.

Ketron® PEEK grades offer chemical and hydrolysis resistance similar to PPS, but can operate at higher temperature range. PEEK 1000 offers steam and wear resistance, while carbon-reinforced PEEK provides excellent wear capabilities. Our latest grade, PEEK HPV, offers outstanding bearing performance. PEEK can be used continuously to 480°F (250°C) and in hot water or steam without permanent loss in physical properties. For hostile environments, PEEK is a high strength alternative to fluoropolymers. PEEK carries a V-O flammability rating and exhibits very low smoke and toxic gas emission when exposed to flame. INSPIRE Polymers are propylene based resins built on molecular architecture, that takes performance and processing ability beyond conventional polypropylene resins. INSPIRE polypropylene deliver products with high output rates and significantly improved bubble stability and drawdown capabilities. These products are well-suited for air-quench blown film process.

Chemfluor tubing offers the ultimate in purity, chemical resistance and broad temperature capability for handling ultra-pure fluids or highly corrosive materials. Chemfluor FEP and PFA tubing products are FDA compliant and contain no additives or plasticizers to contaminate liquids. All Chemfluor tubing products are inert to virtually all chemicals. When used with Chemfluor Fittings, only ultrapure fluoropolymer surfaces contact fluids. Fluoropolymer tubing is the recommended tubing in many demanding areas such as chromatography, semi-conductor processing, Type I Water and cryogenic applications. Chemfluor Tubing is not for use in peristaltic pumps. FEP tubing has the greatest clarity and abrasion resistance. Transparent to UV light.
