Matt to ultra-matte paint surfaces require matting agents with the highest efficiency. That’s were synthetic, micronized silica of the sylysia range come into play. They are characterized by a controlled porosity and a narrow particle size distribution. The extensive range of unmodified or surface-treated grades makes sylysia matting powders suitable for many modern applications.In addition to pure surface matting, sylysia silica are also used for other surface effects such as anti-blocking and improved printability of surfaces.

BTC’s Acronal® types for natural fibers are acrylic dispersions. BTC’s range of Acronal® types give nonwovens made of synthetic fibers their exceptional and different functional properties.

Hydropalat® from BTC types are used as wetting agents and surface modifiers. They provide a formulation with adequate wetting properties, enhance different component compatibility and/or improve the appearance of a coated surface in furniture & floorings coatings, automotive & industrial coatings, inks & printing applications.

The NEVOSIL® R product range is composed of special alkyl silicone resin emulsions, which are employed as a main binder in silicone based masonry paints and plasters. Poligen® wax types refer to pure waxes of oxidized polyethylene waxes or ethylene copolymers. Poligen® products are already emulsified waxes and are used for ready-to-formulate purposes. The oxidized ethylene polymers provide the property of emulsification and thus wax emulsions can be prepared. They are defined by their mechanical and physical properties. The chemical constitution is mainly different. Oxidized polyethylene waxes are of high hardness and higher molar mass.
