SILMIKRON® is for industrial use, mighty, workable silica sand deposits are of decisive importance. Nevertheless, chemical purity and constancy are not enough in order to apply silica directly as a raw material. In Quarzwerke plants silica sands are thoroughly prepared. The raw material has to pass exten-sive cleaning-, classification-, drying- and iron-free grinding processes in order to produce silica sands, flours and powders. For the production of silica flours and -powders with a defined grain size distribution separation processes are required in addition to iron-free grinding. Quarzwerke are able to produce silica powders with grain sizes down to 1 μm due to a fine-tuned combination of grind- and classification technology. Another refining step is the surface-treatment with silanes or silan-based substances which can be adjusted to the respective application.

SS-SIL 530 is micronized Silica (Precipitated Type) . It used as matting agent, anti-blocking agent and anti-cake agent.

ADMAFINE SO-E2 is used in electronic devices, filler for epoxy molding compound, fillers for printed circuit boards. It is usesd as resin filling materials engineering plastics, filler for paint, filler for precise plastic molding. It is used in ceramics molding products and in anti-blocking materials.

Tulco INC HM-103 Deammoniated is for low to moderate thickening, free flowing, anti-caking and silicone rubber application.

PPG LO-VEL® 8100 flatting agent is high-efficiency flatting agent that is idea for use in a variety of coating systems. Lo-Vel 8100 flatting agent is a synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide, wax-treated silica designed for use where a Hegman value of 6 to 6.75 is required. A combination of high flatting efficiency, resistance-to-settling and heat-age stability provides formulation flexibility and expanded process capability.

Supsil™ Premium 1um reflects a Polydispersity Index (PDI) of <0.025. Our particle sizes range from 50nm to 3 microns with specific size targeting available within this range. Changes will arise in the coefficient of variation (CV) with 50nm particles to 1 micron particles showing a CV that is < 7%. Slight increases are seen in CV measurements with sizes between 1 to 2 microns showing a CV < 9 - 12%. With a purity of 99.99% our SUPSIL™ PREMIUM can fit a wide range of applications.

Köstrosol® AD 1530 is an opalescent aqueous dispersion of amorphous silicon dioxide nanoparticles. This middle-size colloidal silica is pre-final coated and stabilized by aluminum oxide. Afterward, the PH is adjusted by a weakly acidic ion exchange.

Vitro Minerals CS-325 are functional glass fillers and extenders made from 100% recycled glass. The products are white to off-white colored powders with a uniform particle size distribution. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy confirm that the CS Glass powders are fully amorphous and contain no crystalline silica.

KemituraSil® 300 is used as a thickening and thixotropic agent in many organic systems, i.e. unsaturated polyesters, coatings, paints and lacquers, printing inks, adhesives, composites, pharmacy and in cosmetics. KemituraSil® 300 is used as reinforcing filler in elastomers, like silicones. KemituraSil® 300 is also used as free flow additive in technical powders, in food and feed where even small amounts significantly improve the flow properties.

Xysil® 380 is a hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of 380m2 /g, and it is synthetic, hydrophilic, amorphous silica, produced via flame hydrolysis.

Silica MF occurs abundantly in nature in the form of oxide (Silica – SiO2) and forms the main constituent of earth. It is very hard and abrasive in nature.

SS-SIL 54 is micronized Silica (Gel Type). It used as matting agent, anti-blocking agent and anti-cake agent.

PPG LO-VEL® 39A silica is a highly efficient synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide flatting agent designed to reduce the gloss of texturized finishes.

Tulco INC HM-250 is for low to moderate thickening, free flowing, anti-caking and silicone rubber application.

Micro-sized Silica

PPG LO-VEL® 275 flatting silica is a highly efficient synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide flatting agent designed to reduce the gloss of lacquers and other coatings systems where a Hegman value of 6 is required.

Sylysia SY 276 FA is a white, free-flowing powders of amorphous, micronized silica. sylysia is characterized by the fine pore network and the narrow, defined particle size distribution. These parameters are precisely adjusted to meet a wide variety of applications.

AKTIFIT VM is a SILFIT Z 91 coated with vinyl functional silane.

XYSIL® R170H is a fumed silica after treated with DDS(Dimethyldichlorosilane). It is based on a hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of 200m2/g.

PPG INHIBISIL® 73 anti-corrosion pigment is a calcium oxide-containing synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide designed for use where thin film build anti-corrosive protection is needed. High calcium oxide content, ease of dispersion and high Hegman value provides formulation flexibility and expanded process capability.

NexSil™ 125-40 is an alkaline dispersion of 70 - 90 nm colloidal silica at a 40% SiO2 concentration in water. The particles are negatively charged. The product can be used in paper, steel and precision polishing applications where large particle size colloidal silica is required. NexSil 125-40 is a good choice as an abrasive for Si wafer stock-polish, sapphire wafer polishing and other hard substrate polishing. NexSil 125-40 is also excellent for paper antiskid and other antiblocking applications where the large particle colloidal silica is used. Consult NYACOL® for recommendations on starting conditions.

Asilpax International B.V. Pyrogenic silica 200 is characterized by high chemical resistance to the influence of the most chemical reagents. It can be mixed with water and with the most of organic liquids. By adding silica to the liquid, it's possible to reach its density, jelly state. Pyrogenic silica is hygroscopic, and easily absorbs moisture.

AGITAN 109 is an emulsion with excellent stability and defoaming persistency. The defoamer is miscible with water in all ratios. It's recommended for architectural coatings, building products, printing inks, adhesives and polymerization processes.

NexSil 20 is an alkaline dispersion of 20 nm colloidal silica at 40% SiO2 concentration in water. The particles are negatively charged and have a high specific surface area. The product can be used in a wide variety of applications such as precision investment casting, precision polishing, metal surface treatment, textile treatment, catalyst binder or other applications where a small particle size colloidal silica is required.

Nordkalk W200 is characterized by different particle sizes and low, medium or high aspect ratio (L/D). In addition, wollastonite products are available surface treated, e.g. in plastics to enhance dispersion in polymer resin. Due to its unique chemical composition, particle structure and high brightness, wollastonite offers many advantages for glazing and body formulations in ceramic applications. Wollastonite is used as a functional filler in paint & coating applications, where technical requirements are high.
