Foamaster® MO 2107 ED is a 100% active liquid defoamer designed for water-based paints. This defoamer is notably robust and persistent when used with water-based paints formulated from vinyl acetate, acrylic, and vinyl acrylic dispersions. AEROSIL® R 202 is a hydrophobic fumed silica grade, treated with a polydimethylsiloxane. This product can be used in defoamer formulations for sedimentation stabilization and due to its high hydrophobicity as defoaming component.

AEROSIL® R 972 is hydrophobic fumed silica grade treated with DDS (Dichlordimethylsilane). The moderate hydrophobicity of these AEROSIL® products is suited for defoaming properties in the presence of appropriate hydrophobic liquids. They are recomended for improving the sedimentation stability of defoamer dispersions as well.

AEROSIL® 130 is a fumed silica with a high specific surface area, making it an excellent thickening and reinforcing agent for a wide range of applications. This product is particularly well-suited for use in adhesives, coatings, and composites, as it can improve mechanical strength and increase the durability of the final product. AEROSIL® 130 is a hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of 130 m2/g.

AEROSIL® R 812 S is hydrophobic fumed silica grade treated with HMDS (Hexamethyldisilazane). It is even more hydrophobic than AEROSIL® R 812 and convenient for stabilizing a defoamer and well suitable as a component of foam control agents.

AEROSIL® R 805 is a high thickening fumed silica surface treated with OCTMO.

NANOPOL® A 720 is a flexible dispersion of colloidal silica in n-butyl acetate solvent. The silica phase is composed of surface-modified, synthetic SiO₂-spheres that are very small in size (Ø 20 nm) and have a narrow particle size distribution. Despite having a high SiO₂-content of 50 wt%, NANOPOL® A 720 is transparent, low in viscosity, and does not show sedimentation due to the agglomerate-free dispersion of the nanoparticles in the solvent. It significantly improves tear resistance, fracture toughness, and modulus. NANOPOL® A 720 can be used to formulate highly filled, transparent adhesives based on various reactive resins. It is also easy to process due to its uncritical solvents.
