STEPAN® VCP is a synthetic thickener suitable for liquid detergents and household cleaning products. It is compatible with most surfactants and has a maximum pH tolerance of 8.5. When combined with alkyl ether sulfates, it improves viscosity, foam, and the cloud point.

Carbopol® EZ-3 Polymer is an easy to use powder for use as rheology modifier in applications where high thickening and stabilization with ease of handling are required. It shows moderate electrolyte tolerance.

Novethix™ HC220S Polymer is a partially nature-derived associative viscosity builder designed for use in surfactant systems. It shows broad compatibility and excellent clarity with many types of surfactants, including cationics. It is suitable for thickening mild surfactant systems, dilutable concentrate systems as well as disinfectant cleaners containing cationic biocides. Novethix™ HC220S Polymer is not compatible with lipase.

Pemulen™ 1622 Polymer is a lightly crosslinked, hydrophobically-modified, acrylic acid copolymer powder. It is designed to form stable oil-in-water emulsions at low use levels. It is a cost-effective polymer for low viscosity emulsions recommended for use in sprayable automotive products, polishes and protectants.

Carbopol® EZ-4 Polymer is a self-wetting hydrophobically-modified moderately crosslinked acrylic acid copolymer designed to impart thickening, stabilizing and suspension properties to a wide range of household applications. Carbopol® EZ-4 Polymer is an easy to use powder for use as rheology modifier in applications where thickening and stabilization with ease of handling are required. It shows good electrolyte tolerance and surfactant compatibility.

Novethix™ HC200 Polymer is a hydrophobically-modified alkali-swellable emulsion (HASE) polymer showing high thickening efficiency with excellent clarity in surfactant systems. It works synergistically with salt to thicken challenging surfactant systems like those containing high level of nonionic surfactants or soap.

Clinton 240 Acid Modified Industrial Corn Starch #028240 is a medium-viscosity, acid-modified starch that is employed by the paper and textile industries for size applications, particularly at high temperatures. A benefit of this product is that the hot paste is less viscous than that of an unmodified starch, and at elevated temperatures, the pastes are slightly clearer. For most applications, it is desirable to hold this paste at high temperatures to prevent excessive setback. As an unmodified (thick-boiling) starch, it is typically high in viscosity, with a good body at both low and high solids. Additionally, the setback (viscosity increase upon aging of the starch paste) is characteristically high for this product.

Clinton 225 Acid Modified Industrial Corn Starch #028225 is a relatively high-viscosity, acid-modified starch that is employed by the corrugating industry as a carrier starch. This product has a moisture content of 9 - 13% and a pH in the range of 6.0 - 7.0.
