DOWSIL(TM)  2511 Cosmetic Wax is a water dispersible silicone glycol copolymer wax with a low melting point and is a water soluble, skin temperature melting wax for increased moisturization and humectancy. It is helpful to add this product into the water phase, where it will disperse with proper mixing, either cold or with heat.

DOWSIL(TM) 7-3100 Gum Blend HIP Emulsion is a High Internal Phase (HIP) emulsion of ultra-high viscosity dimethiconol in cyclopentasiloxane which provides emolliency and superior esthetics in skin care products. This product is water dilutable and can be easily incorporated into the water phase of a skin care formulation. DOWSIL 7-3100 Emulsion has been prepared with nonionic surfactants to provide maximum compatibility in formulations that contain other surfactants.

DOWSIL(TM) 7-3101 Elastomer Blend HIP Emulsion is a high-internal-phase emulsion of dimethicone crosspolymer in cyclopentasiloxane and dimethicone intended to speed the development of skin care formulations containing these emollients. These emulsions have been prepared using a proprietary process to give a particle size similar to the silicone elastomer gels in the emulsion (average particle size 7 - 10 μ), and have been stabilized with nonionic surfactants to provide maximum compatibility in formulations that contain other surfactants.

XIAMETER(TM) MEM-1785 Emulsion is a 60% anionic emulsion of a high molecular weight dimethiconol for hair care applications. XIAMETER(TM) MEM-1785 Emulsion will improve wet and dry combing and impart a soft and slippery feel to the hair. This product is well suited for 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner products.

DOWSIL(TM) 969 Emulsion is a 30% cationic emulsion of an amine functional silicone polymer. The amodimethicone polymer is delivered in an opaque, low viscosity liquid. This emulsion was developed as a conditioning additive for hair care products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling aids and hair colorants. This product provides conditioning benefits on dry and wet hair as well as slipperiness on wet hair. It is also provides heat protection benefits allowing to preserve hair resistance to breakage. DOWSIL 969 Emulsion facilitates styling since it allows to have more aligned hair after blow drying and to reduce the number of iron passes to optimum straightening. XIAMETER(TM) PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 12,500 cSt is a high-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane polymer manufactured to yield essentially linear polymers in a wide range of viscosities. The viscosities generally used in formulating polishes are in the range of 100 to 30,000 cSt. It is preferable to use a blend of a low-viscosity fluid and a high-viscosity fluid (e.g. 3 parts XIAMETER(TM) PMX- 200 Silicone Fluid 100 cSt and 1 part XIAMETER(TM) PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 12,500 cSt) to obtain optimum results in terms of ease of application and depth of gloss. The low-viscosity silicone fluid acts as a lubricant to make polish application and rubout easier, whereas the high-viscosity silicone fluid produces a greater depth of gloss. Since these polymers are inherently water-repellent, they will cause water to bead up on a treated surface rather than penetrate the polish film.
