True Gold is owned by mother-son duo Sarah and Tyler Sample and our honey and wax come from our family beekeeping business, Sample Family Apiaries. 

Our products reflect the immense care we take with our bees and our people. It’s the primary reason our family business has flourished for four generations. We believe in integrity, compassion and hard work. We constantly monitor our hives, ensuring they are healthy, strong and safe, so our bees can focus on the important work of pollinating and making honey. Then we harvest our honey by hand to keep it as raw and pure as possible, using sustainable practices to reduce waste and keep our impact on the earth to a minimum.

Much like our bees take care of each other, we want to ensure every member of our human hive thrives. That’s why we donate 1% of honey sales to families impacted by disability. Our business is beekeeping, our craft is making honey, but our true love is family. True Gold Honey is our way to spread some of that authentic goodness.

Ivanhoe Industries, Inc. is a privately held, family owned specialty chemical manufacturer located in Zion, IL which is equal distance between Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI. Our product line consists of foam control agents, non-ionic surfactants, release agents and hydrophobic silica that are used as additives in a wide range of consumer packaged goods and chemical formulations. Ivanhoe’s market focus is predominately food processing, fermentation, and agricultural applications, but we are developing industrial markets such as oil field, lubricants, and wastewater treatment applications. Ivanhoe has always utilized bio-based raw materials to manufacture our products and always consider sustainable and environmentally friendly concepts in our product development. We are backwards integrated into many of our raw materials and look to offer highly concentrated and efficient foam control agents, and precision dosing systems to reduce cost, reduce carbon footprint, and create new value for our customers.
