FR Eco-Additive™ is a combination of Avtec’s TSWB® fire retarding and smoke suppressing additive and a crystalline graphite. FR Eco-Additive™ may be combined with composite resins and film forming binders to manufacture paints and coatings. Upon exposure to fire or high radiant heat the TSWB ® mitigates flammability and smoke generation as the graphite expands to form a thick insulating surface covering. This felt-like surface provides fire and heat resistance for assemblies that must meet prescribed burn-through and hourly fire rating criteria, e.g., ASTM E119, UL1709.FR Eco-Additive™ is a non-toxic antimony and bromine-free powder that disperses easily in both solvent and aqueous based resins. FR Eco-Additive™ is available with graphite loading levels of 20, 25 and 30%. Please contact Avtec for a product recommendation specific to the end-product use and fire erformance criteria.

Santicizer® Plasticizers offer all the benefits of high solvating plasticizers including compatibility in multiple polymer systems such as Polysulfide, PVC and Polyurethane. Because of their high efficiency, less energy is required to fuse PVC formulations. These materials are well suited for plastisol applications, but can easily be used in almost any polymer system that requires additional flexibility and softness.

A highly engineered HDPE/ceramic composite for maximum abrasion resistance and lubricity.

Unique composites of polyethylene waxes and REACH compliant PTFE that provide a high degree of surface lubricity, abrasion resistance, and film toughness. These proprietary formulations offer a synergistic combination of properties for superior formulation flexibility in inks, paints, and coatings. Polyfluo 900 is an LDPE/PTFE composite fortified with ceramic beads for improved burnish and abrasion resistance. Polyfluo 523AL is an HDPE/PTFE composite reinforced with alumina nanopowder for maximum scratch, mar, and scuff resistance.

20 Microns manufactures Calcium Oxide Desiccant under it brand “Vaporoxol” which is the most economical and old line desiccant; its essential component is calcium oxide, which absorbs moisture by chemical reaction. Compared with silica-gel, it has high ability of absorption of moisture, can ensure the retention period of material for more than six months. Calcium oxide desiccant is most effective where low critical relative humidity is necessary, and where there is a high concentration of water vapor present. Vaporoxol reduces blistering, bubbling and pin hole due to inherent moisture by high shelf life treated calcium oxide desiccant. The calcium oxide is coated by a chemically indifferent hydrocarbon. Due to this preparation vaporoxol has reduced air pollution. Additionally there will not be any unintended reaction with humidity.

The SILPURAN® product range comprises HTV solid and liquid silicone rubber (LSR), and room-temperature-vulcanizing grades (RTV-1 and RTV-2). Trilon® is a broad product range of high-performance and innovative complexing agents, also known as chelating agents. Trilon® chelating agents belong mainly to the class of amino carboxylates which are organic complexing agents. Chelating agents are able to prevent the deleterious impact of metal ions in technical applications. The presence of free metal ions, such as iron, copper, calcium, manganese, and further other metals, reduces the efficiency or quality of the product due to their catalytic activity, precipitation, or increased microbial growth. Trilon® chelating agents are applied in the manufacture of pulp- and paper, electronic or chemical surface treatment processes, bleaching processes in the textile/leather industry, and versatile chemical processes where metal ions can negatively impact the process.

Nonionic surfactants carry no electrical charge and are available in a variety of chemical types. The main classes are alcohol ethoxylates, alcohol ethoxylates/propoxylates, ethylene oxide-propylene oxide copolymers, castor oil ethoxylates, amine ethoxylates, fatty acid esters and their ethoxylates. They are used in a wide range of applications where they provide useful characteristics including  emulsification, solubilisation, wetting, dispersion, detergency, foaming and defoaming.

METABLEN™ is the trade name of modifiers, which have been developed originally by Mitsubishi chemical, a world prominent manufacture of methyl methacrylate resins. Adding a small quantity of METABLEN™ to various resins improves and increases their impact strength and processability, and further improves the characteristics, the appearance and the productivity of their final products. *METABLEN™ is provided by Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, a member of the Mitsubishi Chemical Group.

WARADUR® montan waxes are used as high performance additives in the plastics industry, due to their unique properties and versatility. Montan wax derivatives serve for example as combined external and internal lubricants, dispersing agents and surface improvers in many types of plastics and processing methods. They are therefore particularly valued for technically challenging tasks in the engineering plastics field where high demands are placed on functionality, optical appearance and cycle time reduction. WARADUR® montan waxes in addition also provide excellent lubricating and mold release properties for thermosets.

Innovox® ultrafine calcium oxide desiccants are the market-leading moisture and porosity control solutions for the rubber industry.

GENIOPLAST® from WACKER are silicone-based additives and production aids for both standard thermoplastics and engineering plastics. GENIOPLAST® pellets and GENIOPLAST® additives for wood plastic composites (WPCs) enhance processes and products in the melt-processing industry.

ELASTOSIL® is an all-rounder for countless applications. Silicone rubbers consist essentially of silicone polymers and fillers. They cure at high temperature (HTV/LSR grades) or room temperature (RTV grades) with suitable reactants, forming a three-dimensional structure and transforming the uncured compound in a plastic state into an elastomeric rubber. Silicone elastomers are flexible at low temperatures and resistant to heat and aging (UV radiation and ozone). They are easy to process and have good mechanical properties that remain unchanged over a wide temperature range. They have a neutral taste and are biologically unreactive.

DeMUL is a clear, colorless liquid that serves as an emulsifier for emulsifiable concentrates, microemulsions, concentrated emulsions, and oil dispersions. It has a saponification number of approximately 128, an acid number of maximum 1, and an iodine number of approximately 60 gI/100g.
