TACKIDEX® Potato dextrins provide a variety of benefits to the manufacturer and consumer as both an excipient and a nutrient. They are white to yellow powders obtained from maize, tapioca, and potato starch by heat treatment. These are ingredients for clinical nutrition and nutraceuticals. Dextrins are starch polymers derived through solid-state heating from partially hydrolysed starch. Dextrinization is a classical starch processing technology that makes partial or complete solubility possible. LYCASIN® Maltitol liquids are used as vehicle and humectant for syrups, suspensions and as sweetener in lozenges and medicated confectionary. LYCASIN® has taste and sweetness properties ideal for the preparation of sugar-free syrups made for pediatric and diabetic population.

NEOSORB®70/70 B Sorbitol liquid crystallizing and non-crystallizing products are widely used excipients as vehicle in liquid dosage forms and as a humectant in semi solids. They can be used in various pharmaceutical and nutraceutical applications including lozenges, medicated confectionary, syrups, suspensions, creams and pastes. These NEOSORB® 70/70 B brand materials are part of a large family of Roquette polyol compounds containing sorbitol and other hydrogenated long chain oligomers and polymers. NEOSORB®70/70 B solutions can be used as substitutes for sucrose and meet organoleptic (natural sweetness) and health requirements (i.e they are sugar-free, low-calorie, do not induce dental caries, and may be advised for diabetics). These grades will differ by a difference of composition and concentration in sorbitol and other polyols.

It is non-reactive and non-cariogenic. It typically contains at least 60% maltitol, and it is used as a replacement for sucrose and corn syrup in sugar-free and reduced-sugar applications. Its sweetness and taste are similar to sugar. It meets the requirements of USP/ NF.

ULTRA-TEX® 4 - 32166115 is a modified pregelatinized corn starch. It is a high-performance viscosifier and suspension aid used in syrups and suspensions. It hydrates quickly to produce a smooth and a short-textured product. Its high gloss and excellent sheen promotes a good appearance in the finished product. This product is available under Ingredion Incorporated’s TRUETRACE® Identity Preserved Program for non-GM products.

MALTISWEET® 3145 NON-GMO - 27105190 is a non-crystallizing syrup bulking agent for solution suspension and can act as a humectant, texturing agent, and stabilizing aid. VANZAN® NF-C Xanthan Gum produces clear xanthan gum solutions for applications where clarity is essential. VANZAN® NF-C is widely used as a rheology control agent for aqueous systems. It increases viscosity and prevents the settling of solids in a wide variety of animal care applications. VANZAN® NF-C solutions is remarkably stable over a broad temperature range and will not change significantly between ambient temperature and 60°C. Additionally, VANZAN® NF-C has excellent freeze/thaw stability. VANZAN® NF-C is recommended for use in both acidic and alkaline systems and will retain nearly constant viscosity between pH 2 and pH 12. Mixtures of xanthan gum with water-swellable clays or certain galactomannans produce synergistic rheological effects. The mixtures will provide greater thickening, stabilizing and suspending properties than those developed by the individual components of the mixture.
