HELISOL® heat transfer fluids make an important contribution to the efficient transfer of heat. Heat accounts for around two thirds of industrial energy needs and almost one fifth of total global energy consumption. HELISOL® heat transfer fluids may be used in a broad variety of different applications: in wood and metal processing, oil refineries, chemical, polymer and other industries, as well as in solar thermal applications.

Servers, GPUs, FPGAs and other semiconductors operate at increasingly high energy densities and in ever smaller packaging. These factors, combined with increases in operational frequency and output power, make the effective removal of waste heat a key limiting factor in the design and efficiency of most electronics. GLYSANTIN® line of products are engine coolant concentrates based on ethylene glycol for water cooled engines.

RECOTHERM IG™ contains specially formulated inhibitor packages to help prevent corrosion and extend the life of the fluid. Ethylene glycol based fluids are the first choice for heat transfer applications because of their higher heat transfer efficiency and better overall low temperature properties. All RECOTHERM IG™ heat transfer fluids come in concentrate or pre-diluted solutions, are biodegradable and will not concentrate in water systems.

RECOFREEZE AL® is a premixed, ready to use, pH neutral heat transfer fluid specifically designed for use in aluminum boiler and heat exchanger systems. It is especially suited to combat acidic corrosion of aluminum and other system metals utilizing a proprietary combination of corrosion inhibitors in a blend of virgin propylene glycol and high quality de-ionized water. The additive system used is free of amine, borate, nitrate, nitrite, phosphate or silicate and formulated to provide corrosion protection to copper, solder, brass, steel, cast iron and aluminum components.

GreenCool™ is a product line exclusively offered by GreenChem Industries, consisting of multiple glycol fluids lines. These fluids are well known for their ability to provide freeze protection for closed loop, water-based HVAC and cooling systems.

Propylene glycol based heat transfer fluids are commonly used in applications where low acute oral toxicity is a requirement or when a potential exists for contact with food or potable water. POWERSIL® from WACKER is a portfolio of specialty silicones for power transmission and distribution. It also includes silicone fluids for transformers, and specialty silicone pastes.
