    • Polymer Name:Polyimide (PI)
    • Physical Form:Tube
    • Features:Thermally Insulating, Good Abrasion Resistance, Good Mechanical Properties, High Temperature Strength, Excellent Dielectric Properties, Kink Resistant, High Tensile Strength, Excellent Flexibility, Good Thermal Stability, Chemical Resistant, Excellent Strength, Biocompatible, Excellent Lubricity
Zeus Industrial Products Reinforced Polyimide Tubing is a class of high performing polymers well established in industry for their outstanding chemical, thermal, and mechanical performance properties. Polyimides also exhibit good dielectric properties giving them substantial presence in a number of electrical applications. Zeus polyimide tubing brings these properties and more for both medical and non-medical precision tubing applications. Polyimide tubing provides excellent strength and abrasion resistance. Polyimide tubing also maintains its properties even at very small dimensions. For applications where additional lubricity is needed, PI Glide™, a PI / PTFE composite, provides a lower coefficient of friction for reduced surface resistance of the tubing. For applications that require enhanced torque, flexibility, strength, pushability, kink resistance, or burst resistance, reinforced polyimide tubing is available. Zeus reinforced polyimide tubing can be produced in full load and half load braid patterns, with various PPI (pick per inch) depending on your specifications. Lower braid densities (low PPI) result in increased pushability, while higher braid densities (high PPI) result in increased flexibility and steerability. Reinforced polyimide tubing is also available in coil configurations with various WPI (wraps per inch) to meet your requirements.

Polyplastics Group Topas® 6015S-04Product DescriptionTOPAS 6015S-04 is a general purpose injection molding grade. It is a glass-clear amorphous polymer with outstanding moisture barrier, chemical resistance, high purity and a non-reactive surface making it an excellent choice for optics, healthcare and other high-tech products. Lower leachables and extractables of TOPAS COC preserve food and drug stability and quality. It is a non-polar substrate that does not promote adsorption, denaturation, aggregation, or precipitation like glass can. This grade has a high (150°C) heat distortion temperature to withstand 121°C and 134°C steam and dry heat sterilization protocols, as well as gamma and EtO procedures.Selected Applications Drug delivery Prefilled syringes, vials, cartridges Bottles and tubes Surgical instruments IV containers and components Labware Optics Electronics Food packaging Healthcare and food contact Leading Attributes Low leachables & extractables, low water transmission Non-ionic, does not promote adsorption like glass Minimally reactive Chemically resistant to alcohol, acetone, and acrylates Transparent, withstands EtO/gamma/steam sterilization Temperature resistance, clarity and purity Clarity, low birefringence, low moisture sensitivity Low dielectric constant, thermoplastic Not manufactured with BPA, phthalates, or halogens Broad regulatory compliance Related Grades for Injection Molding, Healthcare, Optics and Diagnostics TOPAS 6013M-07 - broader processing window, best for blow molding (IBM/ISBM) TOPAS 6017S-04 - our most heat distortion resistant IM grade (HDT=170°C) Topas® 6015S-04Topas® 6015S-04 is a Cyclic Olefin Copolymer (COC) product. It is available in Asia Pacific.Characteristics include: Flame Rated Copolymer

    • Features:High Temperature Resistance, Good Compression Set, Good Weather Stability, Chemical Resistant, Improved Tear Resistance, Excellent Mechanical Strength, Acid Resistant, Good Flex Crack Resistance, Good Abrasion Resistance, High Tensile Strength, Wide Temperature Operating Range, Ozone Resistant, Excellent Water Resistance, Improved Flexibility, Water Resistant, Heat Resistance, High Impact Resistance
Goodyear Rubber Company of So. California Silicone rubber is an elastomer different from other rubbers in that it has an inorganic backbone made of silicon and oxygen atoms. Organic rubbers have a carbon-carbon chain atomic structure. The outstanding physical property of silicone is its’ retention of flexibility and tensile strength at relatively high and low temperatures, from -150 F to 600 F. Silicones are very flexible due to large bond angles and bond lengths compared to basic organic polymers. Silicone rubber is a material of choice where retention of shape and mechanical strength are desired under heavy thermal stress or sub-zero temperatures. Silicone rubber is highly inert and does not react with most chemicals and due to its structural properties, it is widely used in aircraft engine parts, door and window sealing parts, healthcare and medical applications including implants.
