This product leaves a smooth, hydrated skin feel with a matte visual effect. It is multi-porous and has a high specific surface area. This product offers the most functionality for O/W emulsions.

AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. RESIFA™ SOLESPHERE™ L-51 is a synthetic spherical silica with low cohesiveness and high fluidity. SOLESPHERE™ L-series has a lower specific surface area than the H-series grades. It is suitable for chemical surface modification or coating. Despite the difference in surface area, the L-series products keep the same oil absorption capacity as the H-series. It also offers better slipperiness and spreadability than the H-series. Because of the product's porosity, it has a light scattering effect for cosmetics and acts as a matting agent for coatings. Its particle size distribution is narrow, and hence it can give a single asperity to a thin coating layer.

AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. RESIFA™ SOLESPHERE™ NP-30 is a non-porous, heat-treated silica particle. Belonging to the NP-series, it has a very high hardness, so it is often used as a filler for increasing resin hardness. The high refractiveness of these grades offers good transparency when added to resins and films. It is also used for anti-blocking in film applications. The NP-series has excellent heat resistance and is very dimensionally stable at various temperature ranges.

AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. RESiFA™ SOLESPHERE™ H-51-ET has a water repellent effect by the innovative surface treatment technology. It is able to blend readily in W/O emulsion cream formulation. The inside porous structure was maintained underneath the surface coatings. Thus this product retains a moisture absorbing function which is a feature of silica gel.
