It is used in cosmetic bases, hand and body lotions, suntan lotions, foundations, and makeup removers.

Edeta® BS is an amino-carboxylic acid with six functional groups whose characteristic reactions enable them to form complexes. It is used as an organic chelating agent for cosmetic formulations and can sequester undesirable metal ions, preventing precipitation of the salts responsible for water hardness and protecting against rancidity and color changes caused by heavy metal ions.

Edeta® BX Powder Complex builder for sequestering of undesirable metal ions in cosmetic preparations. It functions as a chelating agent composed of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, tetra-sodium salt. Lamesoft® PO 65 is preferably used as a lipid layer enhancer for the production of surfactant cleansing preparations. On account of its viscosity-increasing properties, Lamesoft® PO 65 contributes to the viscosity formation in cosmetic cleansing preparations such as shower gels, foam baths, shampoos, and baby products.

Cremophor® RH 410 is a nonionic multipurpose solubilizer and emulsifying agent that is used to solubilize ethereal oils, perfume compositions, vitamins, and hydrophobic active substances in aqueous-alcoholic and purely aqueous solutions. The finished preparations are particularly stable. This product shows little tendency to foam, which is particularly important for solutions in aqueous ethanol. Further foam suppression can be obtained by adding a small amount of defoamer.

Luvigel® EM gives a fresh and cooling feel during application, followed by a non-tacky and chalky after-feel.
