Cetiol® SoftFeel is the newest soft-solid emollient developed by BASF Care Creations®. It is made from 100% renewable ingredients and is 100% naturally derived, according to ISO 16128. The versatile ingredient helps to moisturize and leave a soft feeling on the skin. For hair care applications, Cetiol® SoftFeel helps improve the wet and dry combability. It gently manages the frizz of curly hair without weighing it down and offers nourishment to damaged, coily hair. It can also act as a clean alternative to petroleum-based petrolatum, as the ingredients have very similar sensory and occlusivity properties. Cetiol® SoftFeel is applicable in a variety of beauty and personal care applications.

Cegesoft® HF 62 is a hydrogenated vegetable oil that can modify the rheological properties of emulsions. This ingredient is primarily composed of hydrogenated vegetable oils and appears as beige pellets with a bland odor. It is a versatile ingredient that can be used in various product categories, including after-sun formulations, baby care and cleansing products, body care, color care, face care, face cleansing, and self-tanning products.

Neutrol® MGDA is a highly stable, eco-friendly complexing agent (also called a chelating agent) for personal care applications. This is BASF’s Care Creations®, which is readily biodegradable and stands out due to its excellent ecological and toxicological profile. Biophytex® LS 9832 is a soothing botanical complex that is rich in saponosides and flavonoids. Its comforting effect can help to alleviate the appearance of couperose and eye bags, bringing a healthy and even tone to sensitive and reactive skin. This product is suitable for use in skin care treatments and serums, eye treatments, face care, and cosmetics applications.

Kolliwax® SA is a white to almost white, wax like-mass supplied as free flowing mirco pearls. On account of its consistency giving characteristics Kolliwax® SA is mainly used for viscosity regulation in pharmaceutical emulsions.

Euperlan® PK 771 BENZ is a cold-processable, pasty pearl shine concentrate with a typical faint odor. The product is suitable for dense and particularly brilliant surfactant preparations with a silky shine. This product is recommended for use in skin care, cleanser, mother and baby, hair care, shampoo and conditioner, bath and body, face care, pet care, pet care TSCA, and pet care DSL with quantity restrictions.

Mimiskin™ is a biodegradable alternative to polymer film formers. It is extremely multifunctional and can be used in a wide range of applications. It has a unique melting shift that mimics human skin to form a transparent and flexible film that is completely compatible with the natural hydrolipidic skin layer, in addition to offering breathable protection. Eumulgin® VL 75 is a universally applicable, non-ionic emulsifier for the production of cosmetic oil-in-water emulsions. It is a clear to slightly turbid, yellowish, viscous liquid with an inherent odor. Natural based, emulsifier for skin care emulsions, especially suitable for low-viscous systems like lotions and sprays, high versatility regarding oil phase, very good make-up remover capacity, very good skin compatibility, cold processable, alternative to EO- or sulfate-based, emulsifier technology.

Kollicream® 3C is a clear, mildly yellowish, medium polar oil. It has a slightly fatty odor. Due to its high spreading value the product is suited for the use in pharmaceutical skin care preparations such as low fatting emulsions and skin oils.

Cegesoft® Peel is a spherically shaped wax bead that provides a gentle and mild exfoliation. Mainly derived from natural and renewable resources, Cegesoft® Peel is a readily biodegradable and environmentally friendly alternative to non-degradable beads and sharp-edged abrasives. It is suitable for vegan and biodegradable rinse-off formulation concepts.

Luviflex® Soft is a film-former that provides hair with volume, a soft feel, good dry compatibility, and a certain setting effect. These properties make it ideal for use in mousses that provide body to the hair, as it creates a film that gives hair a fuller appearance. Overall, Luviflex® Soft is an effective film-former for achieving hair volume, a soft texture, easy combability, and a setting effect.

Plantacare® 1200 UP is a nonionic surfactant with good dermatological compatibility and viscosity-enhancing effects. It is therefore suitable for use as an additive or a co-surfactant in cosmetic surfactant cleansing preparations. It is a cloudy, viscous, aqueous solution of a C12 - C16 fatty alcohol polyglycolide.

Phytosoothe® LS 9766 helps to protect the skin barrier, which is essential for the body's defense against the environment. The stratum corneum's lipids and structural elements create a physical barrier, while microorganisms on the skin surface and deeper layers form the microbiotic barrier, which defends against pathogens. However, both barriers are vulnerable to damage from environmental factors. Hyalufix® GL is a bioactive substance that offers an entirely new approach to the use of hyaluronic acid by assisting the skin’s natural formation of hyaluronic acid. It works well in face and body care applications as well as wipes, hair care, and sun care.

Proteasyl® TP LS 8657 Connected skin is a firm and elastic skin benefiting from proteoglycans and fibers emitting a strong tonicity signal at all levels in the skin. With age, these tonicity signal emitters become depleted in the skin causing the tonicity signal to lower. In addition, proteases jam the tonicity signal by breaking the proteoglycans and fiber network. Proteasyl® TP LS 8657 is a natural polypeptidic ingredient that quickly works with the body’s ability to enhance skin elasticity.

Lanette® SX is a cream base for cosmetic oil-in-water emulsions used for skin and hair care. It is self-emulsifying and anionic in nature, and is an alternative to stearate-based cream bases. It is composed of a mixture of cetylstearyl alcohol and an anionic emulsifier, and appears as white pellets with a faint intrinsic odor.

RetiSTAR® is an oily dispersion containing retinol, tocopherol, sodium ascorbate, and PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil in caprylic/capric triglycerides. The ratio and absolute concentration of these four ingredients are well-balanced to achieve maximum stability of retinol in cosmetic emulsions. Retinol is an active ingredient for sophisticated cosmetic skin care products. It is a highly effective substance for the care of aging skin, protecting against photo-aging, specifically wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, and loss of elasticity.

Arganyl® LS 9781 is a powerful water-soluble antioxidant that effectively protects against environmental stresses such as pollution or UV exposure, which can have a dramatic impact on our skin and accelerate skin aging. It helps keep skin looking and feeling young and healthy by preventing a series of oxidative reactions triggered by these external stressors.

Cremophor® GS 32 is a distearate ester of triglycerol, with good physiological compatibility (PEG-free). It is a nonionic emulsifier that is suitable for emulsions with high concentrations of natural oils and UV filters and is an alternative to EO or sulfate-based emulsifiers. It can be used in face and body creams for dry and greasy skin, as well as in sun protection preparations.

Salcare® SC 95 is a versatile conditioning polymer and rheology modifier used in various cosmetic applications. It enhances the performance of skin and hair care products, providing thickening, conditioning, suspending, stabilizing, good spreading, opacifying, and moisturizing effects. It is composed of a cationic homopolymer dispersed in carrier oil.

Cetiol® Ultimate is the ultimate sensory solution for unique textures in skin care leave-on applications. This ultrafast-spreading emollient has a wide range of applications, ranging from ultra-thin oil-in-water formulations to clear sun protection formulations or smooth dry body oils. Thanks to its volatile properties, Cetiol® Ultimate makes products easy to apply, absorb quickly, and leave a smooth, dry feeling. This 100% renewable-based, volatile hydrocarbon is readily biodegradable and is approved by ECOCERT, COSMOS, and NATRUE.

Gluadin® R Benz is an amber, low-viscous liquid with a characteristic inherent odor. It is a rice protein hydrolysate, suitable as a care additive for the application in personal care products, such as mild surfactant preparations, skin, and hair care products.

Cetiol® SN is a medium-spreading emollient with a traditional usage in modern cosmetic applications. It is a clear, slightly yellowish, odorless oil with polar properties. The product finds its application in skin care, sun care, mother and baby care, bath and body care, face care, and self-tanning formulations.

Lutensol® AT 25 Powder is a C16C18 fatty alcohol ethoxylate that functions as a viscosity enhancer, allowing dispersions to exhibit high mechanical and electrolyte stability as well as a small particle size. It serves as an emulsifying agent and can be used as an additive, dispersant, or co-surfactant.

Gluadin® W 40 BP is a hydrolyzed wheat protein that adheres to the surface of the hair to protect and improve its condition. It is an amber liquid with a characteristic inherent odor, a dry substance content of 40.0-44.0%, a total nitrogen content of 5.2-6.5%, and an ash content of not more than 1.5%.

Nephoria™ BC10044 is a part of the sustainable and responsible Rambutan program. It is a natural alternative to retinol without its drawbacks. It has a 2-in-1 approach against signs of aging. It visibly reduces the appearance of wrinkles and improves skin elasticity for younger-looking skin.

Emulgade® CPE is a natural-based liquid emulsion concentrate for the preparation of creams and lotions, especially suitable for personal care wet wipe applications. It can be used for the simple cold preparation of most types of o/w emulsions and contains the typical ingredients of cosmetic o/w emulsions.

Cosmedia® Gel CC is a rheology additive that functions as an emulsion stabilizer and suspending agent. Dehydol® LS 3 Deo N is a laureth-3 polymer that is used as a thickener in cosmetic surfactant preparations due to its viscosity-increasing properties. It is a surface-active agent that is applied in skin care, body care, and hair care formulations.

PeptAIde® 4.0 is clinically demonstrated to aid the body’s natural defenses against silent inflammation.
