Slim-Excess® is a nature-based active derived from red algae and was BASF’s first active for both face and body products, supporting anti-aging, skin tone, and skin synergy claims. Whether due to hormonal imbalances or lifestyle, excess fat stored in the face and body is detrimental to the harmonious proportions associated with beauty. Fat deposits in the face, for example, tend to sag with age and form a double chin, jowls, and bags under the eyes. This leads to a slackness in the oval of the face.
