MicroActive® Lutein Esters are a powerful antioxidant and a key ingredient for eye health, in particular reducing the onset of macular degeneration. MicroActive® Lutein Esters is a self-emulsifying system that micronizes and encapsulates the esters thereby improving absorption and creating a sustained release.

MicroActive® Policosanol is a natural supplement derived from sugar cane. It is a mixture of eight higher primary aliphatic alcohols isolated and purified from sugar cane wax. Policosanol promotes healthy platelet function and helps to maintain cholesterol levels that are already within the normal range. 1-14 Animal and human studies have also shown that policosanol is an antioxidant. 15-19 When used in long-term clinical trials, policosanol was well tolerated and safe.

MicroActive® Melatonin is a hormone secreted by the pineal gland in the brain. It helps regulate other hormones and maintains the body’s circadian rhythm or sleep cycles. The circadian rhythm is an internal 24-hour “clock” that plays a critical role in when we fall asleep and when we wake up. When it is dark, your body produces more melatonin; when it is light, the production of melatonin drops. Being exposed to bright lights in the evening or too little light during the day can disrupt the body’s normal melatonin cycles. For example, jet lag, shift work, and poor vision can disrupt melatonin cycles.

Derived from algae and selected sea animals, Astaxanthin has been proven to be an extremely powerful antioxidant and free radical scavenger. As a fat-soluble compound, there are however challenges to effective absorption.
