FoamStar® PB 2724 is a defoamer that is free from mineral oil and silicone oils. It improves stability, provides resistance against temperature fluctuations, eases pigment dispersion, lowers water absorption, and enhances resistance against water marks. Used as a foam-inhibiting wetting agent in the manufacture of emulsion paints and polymer emulsions, it can also serve as a defoamer in printing pastes and glues applied in printing plants. Additionally, FoamStar® PB 2724 may be an ingredient in the manufacture of anti-foaming agents for various applications.

FoamStar® SI 2213 is a defoamer recommended for clear and low-pigmented aqueous coatings and printing inks, particularly those based on polymeric dispersions. It is a blend of foam-destroying polymers, emulsifiers, and silicone. Developed to prevent foam in modern coatings like those based on finely dispersed acrylics, FoamStar® SI 2213 has minimal to no effect on the swelling of rubber stereos, inking rollers, or blankets in printing inks, ensuring excellent compatibility.

FoamStar® ED 2521 serves as an emulsion defoamer, providing excellent foam suppression during grinding and application. It retains antifoam efficiency during extended storage of paint, is easy to incorporate without requiring strong shear forces, and does not lead to a loss of gloss or fogging.

FoamStar® ED 2522 is a high-performance, ultra-low SVOC silicone emulsion defoamer for premium water-based paints, clear coats, and inks. It provides excellent foam suppression during grinding and application, retains antifoam efficiency during storage, and is easy to incorporate without the use of strong shear forces. Its chemical nature involves an emulsion of organo-modified silicones.

FoamStar® ED 2523 is an emulsion defoamer, a universal polymer-emulsion defoamer enhanced with a small amount of modified polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). It is an excellent defoamer for many flat to semi-gloss aqueous coatings, providing excellent foam suppression during grinding as well as application. It retains antifoam efficiency during extended storage of paint.

FoamStar® SI 2240 is a defoamer designed for pigment concentrates, pigmented aqueous coatings, printing inks, and adhesives. It exhibits a spontaneous defoaming effect, good compatibility, and high efficiency. With broad food contact compliance, it maintains excellent stability under high shear conditions, such as during grinding. The chemical nature involves a compound of modified polydimethylsiloxanes.

FoamStar® SI 2292 is a defoamer and de-aerating agent suitable for aqueous coatings and coatings containing co-solvents. It is especially effective for wood coatings, highly compatible, and consists of a blend of specially modified polydimethyl siloxane. It is recommended for emulsion paints based on pure acrylates and acrylic copolymers, as well as for wood coatings based on acrylates and polyurethane emulsions.

FoamStar® SI 2293 is an excellent defoamer designed for high-quality emulsion paints based on pure acrylates and acrylic copolymers. It is recommended for wood coatings based on acrylic and polyurethane emulsions applied by various methods. The defoamer is effective in emulsion and suspension polymerization during the manufacture of polyvinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, and acrylic emulsions.

FoamStar® ST 2400 is part of a novel series of defoamers based on patented FoamStar® technology. It offers a very fast bubble break compared to conventional defoamers, proving effective in industrial coatings based on acrylic emulsions, with good persistence. The chemical nature involves a defoamer based on patented FoamStar® technology and mineral oil.

FoamStar® ST 2438 is a 100% active defoamer compound combining a hyper-branched FoamStar polymer with high-end organo-silicones. It delivers fast foam knockdown with high efficiency. This defoamer does not reduce the gloss of high gloss paints and coatings, making it effective in difficult-to-defoam high gloss formulations. It ensures fast bubble-break versus conventional defoamers, effectiveness against microfoam, no separation or settling, very good persistence, and suitability for deep and clear/neutral bases.

FoamStar® ST 2454 is a defoamer highly recommended for systems based on PU-emulsions, amine-neutralized resins, and aqueous 2-pack PU coatings. It is especially efficient in PU emulsions, hybrid systems, and PE solutions, typically without causing a reduction of gloss or transparency. It can be used in clear and top coats.
