Luvipur® grades are organic acids with a typical pungent odor. These formic acids (weak acids) are available in several concentration grades (75%, 85%, and 99%). They are completely miscible with water and various solvents like ether, acetone, ethyl acetate, glycerol, methanol, and ethanol but are only partially soluble in benzene, toluene, and xylenes. Its main use is in home care, industrial & institutional cleaning formulations. It can be used as a neutralizer and acidifier. It dissolves and removes calcium-based scales in industrial cleaning processes and ideally, it can combine with Lutropur® MSA.
