Functionality

Alley Cat® 250 starch is an engineered, cationic starch developed for use as a wet-end additive in paper and packaging grades. Alley Cat® 250 has been shown to improve internal strength compared to traditional wet-end starches while significantly enhancing drainage and retention. As such, Alley Cat® technology offers the papermaker a unique option when considering wet-end starches. Alley Cat® 250 is considered to have a high charge level.
