Dar-Tech Hauthane HD-2209 is an aliphatic, polyester-based, aqueous polyurethane dispersion designed to produce unequaled clarity and gloss. It was designed for wood finishing applications, but it can be used on a wide variety of both rigid and flexible substrates. Use wherever a high level of gloss and clarity is required.

HD-2209 was designed for wood finishing applications, but it can be used on a wide variety of both rigid and flexible substrates. Use wherever gloss and clarity are of paramount importance.

Application Method & Curing

HD-2209 can be used as a sole vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions for spray or rotogravure applications. It may be thickened with associative thickeners for alternative application methods.

Curing

HD-2209 can be air-dried. Typical drying temperatures and dwell times for aqueous coatings are sufficient to produce optimal film properties.
