AFCONA – 6755 is in the same category as AFCONA – 6745. The only difference is that AFCONA-6755 is designed for waterbased systems. AFCONA-6755 should always be used in combination with one of the AFCONA 4000 - series high molecular weight dispersants. AFCONA-6755 will absorb to the surface of the pigment. The specially modified surface of AFCONA-6755 provides an anchoring spot for the dispersant on the pigment. Thus, it improves the anchoring efficiency of a dispersant, which gives better pigment stability. This results in:
- stabilized pigment dispersion
- reduced mill base viscosity
- higher pigment efficiency
- reduced flooding problems
Applications & Uses

- Addition and Dosage
- 3.0 - 5.0% calculated based on pigment.
- AFCONA-6755 should be added to the mill base and pre-dispersed for a short period.
- The final grinding process should take place together with the incorporation of the high molecular weight dispersants.
