Cimpact® 699 is used in plastics mainly for nucleation of semi-crystalline plastics, such as polyolefins, polyamides, and polyesters. It could also be used to reinforce plastics while maintaining good impact resistance.
In rubber applications, Cimpact® 699 can be used to provide the best balance of reinforcement and processability, reduced compound viscosity, improved extrusion rate and quality, and reduced die swell and nerve. In thermoplastic elastomers, it reduces anisotropy of the compound while improves reinforcement, tear resistance and processability. Cimpact® 699 also reduces permeability and improves aging properties of rubber compounds and thermoplastic elastomers.
